Chapter 28: Cornered

HEAVEN

We are all currently standby on our assigned position.

Stacey is now busy hacking the security cameras while Yvonne guarding her in her famous stealth mode, Eric is now at a nearby building rooftop preparing his gear,  I am at a safe distance just enough to see the entrance of the so called abandon garage with Elliot, Brook on the another hand is a few blocks away from here waiting for Stacey's signal.

After Stacey successfully hacked the cameras, the signal was immediately send to Brooke. After a few minutes, Brooke riding on her motor bike arrived and stopped at the middle of the garage.

As she walk, a perfect mixture of authority, power and grace was seen. She was indeed a high op of the gang.

When she was about 3 to 5 meters away from the garage, two men showed. As their gaze landed at our companion their jaws literally dropped. They clearly didn't expect to see her.

One of them gulped before talking “N-name Miss?”

Brooke's bitter dry laugh echoed on the silent street “I don't think that's needed. You clearly recognise me, am I wrong?”

“I-it's protocol” the other one chimmed in stuttering like the other one

Even though we are not that near from where they are, I can still feel her intimidating aura and presence. I know she was scary but never knew she was this terrifying.

“Indeed” she added “Lady Khrod, class-SS assassin”

The two nodded and smashed the password in. The door opened the felt at ease but then she turned her back once again “Oh, I forgot”

“Yes, milady?” one of them manage to ask

“You have terrible socializing skills, I want you two to be replaced” she said seriously and the two froze in place

“W-what do you mean by that milady?” one gained enough courage to ask a certain question

“Death” as she mumbled those words, her daggers are already piercing through their throats

Blood continued oozing until both fell into the ground coughing blood groaning in pain. Brooke then took a gun and ended their misery.

She gave us a signal, we immediately came to view.

“Should we clean up there bodies?” I asked looking at the two

“Just throw them at the garbage bin” Brooke shurgged

Elliot, as the only man with us did as she said and carried the two corpses to a nearby garbage bin.

After so, Brooke lead us down the stairs underground to the gang's HQ.

“İflas ettiler” Brooke said

“What!?” Yvonne half shouted, half whispered

“I said, they got bankrupt” Brooke repeated “Namatay kasi si tanda”

We reached our destination catching our breaths.

“Hindi ako na inform na may palugit din palang exercise ang misyon na 'to” Stacey commented earning a chuckle from Yvonne and Elliot

I was about to say something when I heard someone coming to our direction. We all gave each other knowing looks and hid from plain sight.

“I swear I heard something” one of them commented

They are about 5 of them. Clearly not on their fighting stance nor aware of our presence.

Brooke suddenly came out from her hiding spot and came to view. I can't clearly see them but I'm sure they are shocked at the view.

“Bro, I think I'm dreaming” one of them said aloud

“Me too” another one agreed “Yo dude, pinch me”

“Damn am I hallucinating!?” another one said in awe

Brooke let out a giggle, unlike early this one has a flirty touch “Oh boys, believe me you are not dreaming”

She slowly walked towards them and clinged into one “But I can make you sleep forever”

She snapped the guy's neck and he died immediately. The others surprised at the sight but snapped and tried to attack Brooke.

Brooke was fighting two guys together and was winning, her fist versus there knives. One was about to attack her from behind when I stabbed him in the chest first. After doing so I then stabbed the fetal spots that render him dead.

Yvonne then killed another while Elliot killed the last person at the same time Brooke's opponent fell down lifeless.

“That was a good start” Yvonne said while grinning

“It would be more fun of they we're more” I commented earning a snicker from Brooke and eye roll from Yvonne

“You guys are unbelievable” the agent commented

“Yeah but you love Heaven” Stacey said while raising one of her eyebrows

Elliot looked at the other direction while ears were red as tomato's and I blushed lightly and continued to walk leaving them behind.

“Ikaw talaga Stacey eh, tignan mo nalang si Heaven nagtatampo!” Yvonne said

“Huy, Heaven maghintay ka nga” I heard Brooke shout together with loud footsteps indicating that she was running

I was about to ignore her and continue on walking when I saw countless men behind the door I opened.

“Hey Heaven what's—” Brooke couldn't finish what she saw the current situation “Well this is going to be fun as fuck”

“Ano naman ang tinutunga—” Stacey froze on the sight “Shit”

“What's—” Yvonne arrived and saw the crowd of enemies “This is going to be a long day”

I heard Elliot loaded his gun “Let's do this shit!”

I saw Stacey pressed the distress signal calling Eric for help.

I took out the poison and loaded it to my needle gun that Stacey personally made with the help of other government scientist.
