A/N: I was really eager to post this so I made new update days.
As I peaked through the outside of the door, I see two young boys—one with red clothing and one with green.
"C'mon Bolin," the taller one with red said, "We have to go babysit Shady Shin's sister. It'll be for a bit."
"But, but, what about the pro-bending match," the other argued and whined, "this is our first chance to watch it legally and with good seats as well."
The other boy just scoffed and rolled his eyes. I could tell that he really wanted to go but he knew he had his duty to the Triple Threats. I quickly popped my head back into the room and stood right next to Shady Shin. Not so long after, the same boys show up. "Mako, Bolin," my brother commanded. They quickly rushed to his presence and stood there attentively. "From now on, until you happen to get your way out of here," he told them then whispered to me, "if that's even possible," but I just stared, clueless to what he was talking about. The atmosphere became awkward when I didn't give him a reaction. We all just looked at each other until Shady Shin broke the silence by clearing his throat. "Ahem, you will have the responsibility of guarding my sister whenever I'm not around," he told them, "I sense that you will all have a nice time around each other. Become friends or something that way you won't dread it, Mako and Bolin. But as for Ryujin, she could tell you whatever she wants. Her rank is higher than yours." He smiled mischievously at them and walked away. Before he left, he told us, "I'll be in a important meeting so your job starts now," and proceed to close the door.
"Uh, hi," I said to them shyly, "I'm Ryujin."
The introduction between us was short and awkward. They didn't really say much to me.
"Well," the shorter one said, "I'm Bolin and this is my brother Mako," he said while pointing to his brother. I nodded and pursed my lips and looked around the room. Then I remembered something!
"I heard that you guys have a pro-bending match to watch tonight," I brought up to them. They both raised a brow at me then Mako asked, "Wait, how'd you know?" I brought my fingers to the center of my body and tapped them nervously. "Well I sorta overheard it. But I can get you better seats," I suggested to them. Quickly, the other boy reacted happily. "Really," he exclaimed, "please Mako, we can't miss this." His brother shrugged and went with it. I felt that he was feeling indifferent about it but still wanted to go.
"Um," I said hesitantly and smiled, "let's go then."

As I woke up from my nap, I notice the snippets of light entering the airship. It was parked somewhere surrounded by mountains. As I began to wake up, I slowly make my way outside. "Naga, fetch," the Avatar exclaimed as she threw the ball far with her air bending. "Seems like you've woken up," Chief Beifong said to me, "you were out for awhile. I almost thought you died." I didn't say much except for a simple, "Oh." Chief noticed my state and pointed out, "you still seem tired. You should head back in." I shook my head and sat on the ground. Shortly, I see Rin's exit the airship and into my lap. "Oooh," Bolin said, "You have a snow ferret?" But I could tell he was faking the excitement. It was like he already knew about it, but why would he fake something like that. "Yea," I said quietly and tired as well, "Her name is Rina." He joins me on the ground and asks, "are you making flower crowns?" "Y-Yea," I stuttered, "but what would make you think I would do that?" His body language began to become more hesitant as I moved to look at him. "Oh- It's- a- it's nothing really," he stammered, "just a hunch." He gave a really suspicious smile but I let it went over my head. "Well okay," I simply said to him."So, Bolin," I said as I looked around at the flowers, "what color would you want?" He shrugged and said, "how about you choose for me?" I was taken aback by this. It felt like he had given all his trust into me. "Maybe, green, yellow and white," I suggested to him as well and asked. He nodded and smiled, "oh and I can go pick the flowers," he said and walked away into a different flower patch.
I begin to think about my dream as I waited for Bolin to pick some flowers. "Mako, Bolin," I questioned myself in my head, "and that Shady Shin guy." As I was lost in my thought, Bolin began to walk over and present all the flowers to me. "Here you go," he said as he drops all the flowers onto my head. Rina was buried in all of it and quickly jumped out of my lap. She shook herself off and ran away to who knows where. "Wow," I said as I was in awe by the beauty of the flowers, "you have a great eye." Bolin smiled smugly and said, "well that's what I get for being an earth bender. Very well tied to the earth and stuff," and posed courageously.
I began to weave each flower one by one. As I weaved, a thought went past my head. "What if this Bolin is- no that will never happen." I quickly erased that thought and finished the little details it had left. "I finished," I said to Bolin and presented it to him. "Wow," he exclaimed, "it's so pretty and so cool and very, everything." He places it on his and and soon after Pabu sat on the crown. "Oh no, Pabu," he said so defeatedly. I smiled and took the crown back, "I can fix it." I split the crown in half and weaved it to where Pabu could wear it as a crown and Bolin could wear it as a bracelet. I handed it back to them and they both seem satisfied. "Mako," he yelled at the window of the airship, "Look what Ryujin made." I saw a slight smile from the other brother's face. His smile seemed so bittersweet as he looked sad and happy at the same time.
"Hey Ryujin," Korra called me over, "wanna deliver a throw?" I walked over to here and looked at the ball. "I can't really throw but I'm a good kicker," I suggested and shrugged nervously. "Okay well," she paused then suddenly throws ball to me, "kick it." I caught the ball and stared at her as if she was being for reals with me. "R-really," I stuttered. She nodded and moved out of the way. I deliver a strong drop kick to the ball causing it to fly miles and miles away. I looked at Korra to see her jaw drop. "I'm sorry," I said to her, "I could retrieve it but I wouldn't know where it would be." She was still bewildered by the kick but let it slide. "It's fine," she said, still looking into the distance, "I have a spare."
As time went by, Mako and Asami finally come out to alert us about the air bender in Zao Fu. But it didn't seem like Chief was having it. "Sorry but if there's an airbender in Zao Fu, then that's where we're going next," Korra argues and walk off into the airship. Everyone did the same but I stayed and asked, "Your facial expression seemed troublesome when Zao Fu was mentioned. Is there something there at Zao Fu that you don't want to see?" She looked at me and said nothing. She just turned her back and faced the dog. I walked away, knowing that there was something going on in her mind.
As I entered the airship, I could see the four of them talking. I didn't want to interfere so I sat down to my book again. Shortly, I see Rina entering with Naga and the Chief. "Hey Ryujin," one of them called, "C'mere." As I walked, I could hear snickering from one of them. "Uh, why did you call me here," I said suspiciously. "We wanted to know who's the better detective," Asami said, "Mako claims it's him but we want your input." I tapped my chin, looking like I was thinking when really I wasn't. It took me awhile to build their anticipation but I eventually broke. "I think, in all aspects, I'm a stronger detective." Mako was taken aback and looked at me competitively. "Well, I do have to admit that her skills are quite excellent." Everyone gasp as Mako just accepted his defeat. "Woah Mako," Bolin said sarcastically with his mouth agape, "I think we all already knew that." Mako just side-eye him and they all burst out laughing. I gave a slight chuckle with them as well, resulting in a blushing Mako. He rubbed the back of his head while everyone laughed.
A/N: It's a filler but they need a break
