A/N: Hi again. sorry for the late update. gonna make a discord for those who wanna help me do my homework.

Ryujin POV

" Y'know what, it's fine. Let's just go."

I began to walk ahead to the Misty Palms Oasis, leaving the three behind. They just stood there with a dumbfounded expression on their face.

"Are we gonna go, or not," I asked, turning around to face them. This was starting to get annoying. "We need to hurry and get back to Bolin, remember?"

The three looked at each other, eyebrows raised and all, then continued right after me.

As we all walked down to the Misty Palms Oasis, Mako comes next to me. It seemed that he wanted to talk to me but just couldn't. Like he was itching to tell me something.

"What is it," I asked him. I wonder if he could sense the irritation in my voice.

He stuttered, "I- oh- wah- it's nothing. I just- never mind." Exactly. It better be never mind. With the way Korra behaved towards me, I wouldn't hesitate to kill her on the spot. She's just so hard-headed.

"I think it's better for me to be in the front," Mako said, walking in front of me, "I know where we're suppose to go so yea..."

That was awkward.

We all followed Mako to an inn and from far away, I spotted Bolin in the bright yellow poncho. He was waving to us so I waved back but it seemed Korra was too angry to wave back.

"Korra," I whispered, "You can't take your anger out on me. Just keep it civil for now. You need me and I need you. Alive." I tried my best to exaggerate how much I needed her alive. She was my job and it's my duty to protect her—no matter how much of a child she's being right now.

Bolin's figure began to grow as we approached him. He wasn't in the yellow bright poncho like before but instead had his regular clothes on.

"What if we get captured?" I asked him directly, "Why aren't you wearing your disguise?"

He brought up his hands, putting them parallel to his ears. There was a slight tremble in his eyes, stress lines exaggerating them.

"What's wrong?" I truly couldn't understand why he was scared. I sounded pretty normal. "We should just get inside."

I was the first to make my way inside the lobby of the inn. The other four followed after.

"Good afternoon," Mako greeted the innkeeper, "We'd like a room on the ground floor across from 102, please." Way to be so suspicious, Mako.

"Forget it," the innkeeper exclaimed, almost as if she was lecturing us. "Last time a bunch of teenagers came in here, they trashed the whole room." I shoved the Mako out of the way, ready to give this old lady a piece of my mind. But before I could, I was interrupted.

"We found you."

We all turned around simutaniously, guarding up to put up a fight. Flames emitted from my fist, ready to kill if I have to. Two bodies, dressed in their nation's attire. Their stance felt threatening. There would be no reason for them to follow us if they weren't bounty hunters.

"Hey," the old lady innkeeper yelled, "No bending in here! Take it outside!" It was obvious that everyone ignored her. But soon enough, the bounty hunters loosened up. Their body language became more welcoming and a bit worrisome.

"Woah, woah, woah, woah," one of the exclaimed, "We're not here to fight you," he clarified. That brought me ease. I rested my stance and dropped my guard. "We're here to meet Nuktuk," they admitted. I forgot Bolin played Nuktuk, never really watched those movies.

The other started to approach Bolin very closely, pulling out a poster from behind them.

"We're your biggest fans," they said as the paper unrolled, "Could you make it out to Lily and Macao?" I could see their grins grow wider as Bolin's eyes began to get weary.

"Uh, I'd be happy to," he hesitantly said, "Always love meeting my fans." He gave out a nervous chuckle as he signed the poster.

"This is so weird," I whispered under my breath.

"I know right," Asami whispered back, "But maybe using Bolin's fame could help up."

A slight chill ran against my spine as I looked back at the two super fans. It made me want to curl up and die.

"Why didn't you tell me your friend was a mover star," the innkeeper asked, now trying to get on our good side, "I'd be happy to rent you any room in the inn."

"We'll just take the one across from 102," Mako asked again.

"I'm going to be outside," I said, "Call me in once you're ready."

I exited through the back of the lobby to where all the other rooms were. My back leaned against the wall, under the shaded patio. It was a bit more peaceful out here than back inside but soon that peace was ruined by no other than Korra.

"Oh." It was all I could say.

"Sorry about earlier," She said, almost as if it was forced. But that could be just me.

"It's fine," I responded, "You're nothing but a case to me. You're just my job."

"It seems you don't have a lot of friends, do you," she asked. It felt like an insult.

"Are we going in or what," I asked to get out of this conversation, "And what's with that weird question?"

"I know how you view me. I know that to you, I'm nothing but another paycheck. But to everyone in this group, you're our friend. And what happened back there shouldn't define our relationship," she said to me in the most heartfelt way ever.

"I can decide who my friends are. Or if I even need any." I turned my head away from her, hoping she would leave.

"If you think acting cold is going to help then you're wrong. Y'know, you act just like Mako sometimes," she laughed.

"Huh," I snapped my head back to her, giving my full attention, "What does that even mean?"

"It seems I got your attention again. If he wasn't your friend then you probably wouldn't have cared, am I right," she asked. What type of psychological mind games is the avatar playing? I shouldn't be this vulnerable to her.

"I...," I hesitated to answer knowing that what I'm about to do is give into Korra and become vulnerable. "I guess you're right," I gave in.

"Okay, we're about to go," she said and waited for the other to come out. As they did, we both followed them.

"Wow the room is small," Asami pointed out. I didn't realize it too until I saw how many of us were here. The five of us and a giant dog with a tiny mouse. It is pretty small for group like that.

We quickly set everything down and aimed to the window. As Mako slightly opened up the curtains, Ai Wei was spotted. Ai Wei did the same as well, looking around for any spies at hand.

"There he is."

A/N: Anyways i'm going to try to update as soon as i can. i wanna get this story done and over with.
