A/N: Well it seems like an end of an era. Well Zaofu was fun, wasn't it?

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Hey, it's time for dinner!"

I raced up, checking the clock to see if I was late—in which I was. My body shot up from the bed and onto the floor in seconds. I was already sleeping in my day clothing so there was no need for me to change. When I opened the door, Bolin was there.

"Are you ready," he asked me, a bit aggravated.

"Yea yea, let's go," I said to him and exited the room.

We walked down the hall to the Dinning room where everyone else was. Bolin walked to Opal, who was saving a spot for him while Korra, Asami and Ryujin sat together. The only open spot was next to Ai Wei. I had no other choice but to sit next to him. I dreadfully walked over to the open seat next to Ai Wei. "Hello, Mako," he greeted me in his haughty and pompous voice. "Hi...," I say nervously—and not wanting to.

As time passed, I was feeling much lonelier. Everyone had someone to talk to while I didn't. I wanted to excuse myself—which was what I did. "Dinner is coming to a wrap so you are all free to excuse yourself," I heard Suyin say. I could feel myself being uplifted from her words. It felt like an OK to commit a crime—which it wasn't but at the time it felt like. I was the only one to leave while everyone else stayed.

I walked down the hallway alone, leading myself to nowhere and anywhere, hoping I would end up somewhere. As I did, I found myself gravitating to the garden. I walked towards the bench that I sat on that one early morning and looked at the sun. "Did you know that the sun is a huge source for fire benders," I heard a voice said. I turned my head around to see the long-haired girl. "Ryujin?" She smiled and walked to the seat right next to me. "There's something I need to give you. I don't know if it's yours but I feel like it is," she said to me. Ryujin reached into her pocket and brings out a glove. It looked very familiar but it was smaller than my hands currently. "A Triple Threat member gave this to me," she said as she presented the glove to me. I took the glove from her, examining while doing so. Wait, this is my glove! I gave it to her one day as a bet.
-
"Okay!" Ryujin said excitedly, "If I win, I get to keep your right glove."

We were getting ready for a fire bending sparring match. I felt very confident. Even though she's much more agile, quick and flexible, I was much smarter.

We both got into our stances, with Fire in our eyes as we did so. "Ready," Bolin announced. I was more than ready. I gave a smirk over to the girl and she returned one back with a scoff.

"Begin!"
-
"He was wearing a blue coat. Do you know who him?"

As I was lost in flashback, I mentally cringed. I really did lose that battle, and very badly.

"Mako? Hello?"

I snapped back to reality and process Ryujin's question. "Huh? Oh, yea. Shady Shin," I responded. She brought her finger to her chin, looking like she was lost in thought. "Hmmm," she bummed, "I see. I think Opal is about to leave soon. We should say goodbye." I agreed and nod. We both stood up and went to find the rest of the group.

We finally found the rest and I saw Bolin already sobbing. I rushed over to him, as well as Ryujin, and console him. His wet tears started to stain my sweater as he cried into my arms. Ryujin rubbed his back, hoping it could relax him. "I'm...going to...miss her...so much," he said in between sniffles. "She'll be back Bolin," Ryujin said, trying her best. "You always know how to cheer me up," he said as he was still in my arms. We all watched as the airship flew off, leading Opal to the Northern Temple. I gently pushed Bolin off of me. "I'm gonna get ready for bed," I said to him. Everyone's eyes were on me for some reason. It felt like I had done something wrong. "Oh...okay," he sniffles, "I'll see you soon."

I walked into the house and spotted Ai Wei and Dai Wei. Those two were always suspicious. I hid behind a wall and tried my best to listen.

"The attack happens today. I'm going to need you to be as stealthy as you can."

Attack? What attack?

"Yes sir."

"Now remember, I'm your superior. One slip up and you're done for. Got it?"

"Yes sir."

I heard one of them walk away, metals clanging as they did.

"What a huge- he can go chase himself. Guess I'll head over to that one girl's room. Ryomin? Whatever."

I shouldn't think too much of it but I should probably say something. As I was about to turn around, I saw the group. I rushed over to Suyin and told her what I just heard. "Suyin, I overheard one of the guards and Ai Wei discussing an attack!" She looked at me funny. In fact, all of them did. "I assure you, Zaofu is the safest city in the world." "But...I...," the words couldn't come out my mouth. "I think you need some sleep brother. You haven't been yourself ever since," Bolin said to me. He was just crying earlier. "I agree," Suyin said, "Let's all head to bed. I'll get the air ship ready for you guys," she said as she looked at the five of us. They all dispersed without a care.

Bolin and I headed to our room and once he got in, he knocked out. "You got to change bro," I said to him while trying to pull him up. "Yea, yea," he said and painfully rolled out of bed. I changed into my night clothing before rolling into bed.

As soon as I fell asleep, it felt like I woke up again.

"THEY'VE GOT KORRA! THEY'VE GOT KORRA," Bolin exclaimed. We both quickly rushed out of bed to save her. The hallways were dark so I lit up the way so see. "This way," I say and turned right. We were led outside and saw four prominent figures. An armless woman, a braided lady, a long-hair male and a bald one. Each were a different bender. One of them had Korra. I tried to spot for Ryujin but she was nowhere in sight. But from the corner of my eye, I saw.

Da Wei was carrying her limp body.

A/N: Well that's a chapter. Lol jk it's not over.
