*Ochako's PoV*
It had been two whole weeks since U.A was shut down and I moved back home to my mom and dad. Upon seeing my mother, I immediately rushed into her arms when she called out to me from the entrance of the dorms and gave her the biggest hug I could give as she merely giggled at my antics. It was at that point I looked over her and saw my dad just next to her and giving me a warm smile, but I could tell when he's faking it because he's always faking that stupid smile when in public. I only give him the stink eye, but Izuku wasn't all too pleased to see him either. I don't know what his beef with my dad is, but he made it clear that he wasn't a fan of him whatsoever.
Despite this, the afternoon went about as it was meant to with everyone's parents arriving and helping my class with packing up their belongings and whatnot before we all started to walk out of the dorms. We paid our teachers and the principle one last goodbye before walking through the gate and saying our farewells. Before we did officially part ways, we all decided to add each other into our contacts and create a massive group so that we can all meet up for special occasions, or arrange smaller get-togethers. Either way, we were still going to see each other during this whole Carnage-crisis, as that was the nickname we had decided on using for the current situation U.A is facing.
Now, in the present day, I'm stuck in my room and doing my own thing as I ignore the villain currently inside me. "Come on Uraraka, you've been ignoring me ever since the day U.A was shut down! Lighten up will you!?" Izuku says inside my head, trying to get me to respond as he continues trying to gain my attention. I've been ignoring him for two whole weeks ever since that day and people do eventually reach their limits, and I just so happened to reach mine as I shout back at him mentally. "Good God do you ever shut up!? Because of you, my mom isn't going to get the life she deserves and will end up having to live with this asshole for the rest of her life!" I clearly wasn't in the mood to hear the blood beast speak, not after the stunt he pulled.
"Are you sure that's what it is, or are you pissed off that I made you and Kaachan break up? Because if that's what you're upset about, then I don't understand why you're angry at me about it!" He was really starting to grate at my skin as I got out of my bed and walked to the mirror to look at him as I speak, having seen that he appears in the reflection of any surface that reveals a reflection. I looked at him in his milky white lenses surrounded by inky-black liquid that surrounded them before I started talking with my inside voice. "Believe me Carnage, Katsu and I breaking up is the least of my worries when my mother and I are dealing with this junkie!"
"Then why not find another way to help support your mom!?" He retorts back in an agitated voice as I flinched at his aggressive and assertive tone as he continues with his speech. "For two weeks straight you've been doing nothing but sulking over the fact you're not gonna be able to help your mom the best way you can, but there are still efficient methods someone at your age can do! You say you want to help her, so why aren't you doing it!?" Although Izuku was really the last person I wanted to talk to...I couldn't help but admit that he's right in that regard. All I've been doing is sulk and mope and cry that I couldn't become a hero to help my mom, instead of actually taking the time of two whole weeks to get a part-time job to help her.
Despite this, I didn't want to admit it to the parasitic villain as I just turned back to my bed in a huff and vent my frustrations into my pillow, much to Izuku's annoyance. But there was something that has been bugging me for a while. Two weeks ago, on the night I found out I was his host, he said to me that I could ask any question I wanted to him and that he'd respond to each of them with an honest answer. And since he brought up Katsuki, I decided to go for it. "Hey? Carnage?" "Hmm?" He responds back, not sounding too happy that I didn't admit that he was correct in the logic of what he said earlier. "On the day I found out I was your host, you said I can ask you any question I wanted and that you'd answer them honestly right?" "No matter how painful it might be for me. I'm many things Uraraka, but a liar or dishonest being is not one of them." He responded to me without a moment's hesitation.
