*Ochako's PoV*
A month and a half. It's been a month and a half since Red did business with Johnny Richards, and it's been a month and a half since I've last seen the parasitic villain. We made it home in just a few minutes, courtesy of Izuku taking control and rushing us back there, and were greeted with a nice little scolding session from my mother, and surprisingly, my father who appeared to show real concern.
Although I didn't think he was being genuine about it, I knew my mom was by a longshot. She was worried sick as she held me by my shoulders and scolded me repeatedly for staying away so late. Needless to say, I listened to Izuku's advice, the villain having taken his place in my body again to stay hidden from my dad, and took my mom's scolding for a good minute before I was finally allowed up to my room, but not before whispering into my ear that the same applies for Izuku.
Once the scolding was out of the way and I was allowed back into my room, Izuku reassured me that everything was going to be alright. He said that to me earlier in the night after my little sobfest, but I didn't know why he was saying it to me then. I understood why the next morning however...To notice that he had left my home completely. This was confirmed when I saw the note he left on my dresser, stating to me that if this was going to work, then he had to leave for quite a while.
I understood why he would have to leave me here...But it didn't take away the fact I already started to miss him.
But finally, after a month and a half of waiting to hear from him, we were standing just outside the manner to the Blood Rose headquarters. A massive victorian styled mansion that stretched from the very plateau of a mountain to the very edge of a slope was the first thing that made me feel tiny and helpless upon arriving here, nevermind the feeling of existential dread that we immediately picked up from setting foot on the property.
But no, the group just had to go the extra mile with the terrifying gargoyles. Nevertheless, the knowledge that Izuku was inside this place gave me the confidence I needed to go up to the door and ring the bell on it, causing a ding dong sound to echo inside and alert the owners to its presence. The reason why me and my mother were here was for one simple reason.
Earlier in the mail today, my mother was met with an unusual letter with a seal on it that was in the shape of a rose. One that came from this very manner. Once she brought it in and read through it, we found out that it was Red himself who wrote us the letter, and his mother Inko had formally invited us to the manner. Upon reading this, I was ecstatic to know that I was going to see him again while my mom just sat next to me in silence, probably processing the fact that after so long, she was going to see her friend again.
I stood on the doorstep, feeling both nervous and excited as I practically started shaking on the spot while my mom was just nervous. I couldn't blame here, the gargoyles that loomed over where unlike any I have ever seen before, even in many different pictures I've seen on the internet, I have never seen gargoyles that looked this terrifying and dread-inducing.
And with being accompanied by the victorian make of the mansion, it just made everything a lot more unsettling. Despite that, I held my mom's hand to try and ease her nerves before the door opened, revealing a green-haired woman in her early forties, around my mom's age, standing there with a dark green and black dress, her emerald eyes looking into my mom's chocolate brown ones. This woman was none other than the boss who runs Blood Rose, Inko Midoriya, Red's mom.
"Well Tosa...It's been a while, hasn't it? Here, come on in. I'll get the two of you situated." She put her back to the door and made room for both my mother and I to walk in. I could hear that the villainess standing in front of us was nervous given how she spoke, and honestly, if what talked over about her and my mother was true, then I couldn't blame her for it.
