On the hottest day of the year, a Prince was born in the Tropical Kingdom. May 16th. Next to the cradle stood the newborn Prince's older sister, Nicole. The 5-year-old Princess pouts slightly, "I was hoping it'd be a girl" she says, "So I could win the bet with my friend".

Her mother, Queen Willow, chuckles slightly, "Well, either way, I know you'll be a great older sister" she assures her daughter as she brings her sleeping son out of the cradle.

The prince had light brown hair, green eyes and tanned skin. "What should we name him?" King Nathan asks as he walks over and sits down next to his wife.

Nicole starts jumping up and down, "I call dibs on name picking!" she says.

Willow giggles, "Alright, what's your idea, Nicole?" she asks.

"Joseph! And we can call him Joey for short!" she chirps.

Willow and Nathan looks at each other, "I like it" Willow says.

"Same here. So, Joseph Graceffa?" Nathan asks.

Willow and Nicole nod. "Then it's settled. He is now Prince Joseph" Nathan announces

Joey looks around his sister's bedroom, trying to find her. He could see her standing next her bed, looking out a window. She had been rejected by the boy she had a crush on yesterday. He had told her that he doesn't like her because she wears glasses. None the less, Nicole's best friend went on a rampage at the boy. Nicole wasn't too happy for the entire day, but she's doing a lot better. Maybe it was for the better, seeing as she is only 10 years old.

But really, who hates somebody just because they wear glasses?!

Joey walks up next to Nicole and looks out the window with her. The waves are slightly higher today. They could only just see the peaks of the volcano kingdom in the distance.

"Mum says that lunch is almost ready, whenever you want to come down" Joey tells his older sister.

"Thanks Joey" she says, grabbing her crown from the nightstand and putting it on her head. She skips out of the room, and Joey follows her, doing the same thing as her, making sure his own crown doesn't fall from his head.

Joey was never one to wear his crown, he likes to wear hats, but he decided to wear it today.

As the two siblings skip their way into the dining room, which holds the largest windows in the entire castle, apart from the one above the front entrance, they see the maids setting the table for the family of 4.

They take their seats just as their parents walk in and take their seats too. Joey looks across the room and out the windows, watching the waves lap against the shorelines. You see, the Tropical Kingdom consists of the two main islands, Akala and Runestone, along with the two smaller islands, Seacrest and Cladism. The castle sits on Akala, on the edge of the River Alon, that flows between Akala and Runestone, sitting next to the kingdom's port, Port of the Tropics.

Joey rubs his hands together, licking his lips as a plate of delicious food is placed down in front of him by the chef. It's a Tropical Kingdom special called Danalis. It's a secret recipe that none of the other kingdoms know of. They may not even know it exists.

Joey lays down in the sand of the beach, arms behind his head as he rests in the sunlight. He wanted to get out today since there's going to be a small tropical storm tomorrow, and he wouldn't have the chance to go out tomorrow.
