Chapter Eighteen- "You Raid me, We Raid you"

-------------------- League of Vengeance Base --------------------

Shelby jumps down into the fake lava pit and then into the water before going to the meeting table where Scott and Callum were waiting for her arrival. "Okay, what's the plan?" she asks.

"Well, Callum told me that he found his base blown up this morning, so they must of found out Callum was there too" Scott says, "They could be going for your base as we speak, Shelby" he says.

Shelby shakes her head, "If they did, I would have heard the alarm go off in the sand because of the spell" she says.

"That's a good point, but still, we're pretty far from the Desert, if they are there, you won't hear it from here" Callum points out.

Shelby bites her bottom lip, "You have a point". She takes a deep breath, "Anyway, what's the plan?" she asks again.

"We're going to go for Queen Lizzie's base. Since she's the leader of the Villains, it makes sense to go for her first. Just like how they went for me first, since I am the leader of Vengeance" Scott says. Shelby and Callum had appointed him as leader a while back.

Shelby sucks in a breath, everybody knew that she had a small fear of Queen Lizzie, ever since her mother's death. Scott and Callum see the nervous look on Shelby's face and frown.

"It's going to be okay, Shelby" Callum smiles.

"Definitely! I mean, weren't you the one that scared of 5 of her guards?" Scott says, gently nudging her.

Shelby thinks for a moment, "Y-You're right, but still... I haven't met Queen Lizzie; I don't know what she's like at all" she says.

Scott nods, "I know, but we can do it! I know we can" he smiles.

"Okay, so what's the plan to find it?" Callum asks.

"Well, I had a guard of mine go under cover and watch Queen Lizzie to see if she'll go down to her base at all. She did, and the guard knew exactly where it was. Only problem is, the Alpine and the surrounding grasslands have a spell on it that prevents other kingdom's from using attacks on them" Scott speaks, "So, Lizzie basically made is so that nobody could raid her, since she's protected by two safe zone walls and the Alpine Kingdom's protective spell".

"So, what do we do?" Shelby asks.

"Well, I also learned that they've been having some strange monster problem around that area. The creatures known as Creepers, have exploding capabilities and can explode anything, as long as they have a reason to do so" he explains, "So, if we can find a good amount of them, then we can lure them to where we want them to go, and let them explode their way in. Only thing we need to do is lure them and stand beside them so that they will explode. I had 3 shields made that have a spell on all of them so protect us from explosions" Scott grins.

"Perfect!" Callum says, throwing his arms into the air, "Only one problem... it's going to take us hours to get to the Alpine, and there's going to be a lot of guards at the kingdom gate, I would assume".

"As long as we get there for 2pm, we should be fine for when the guards at the gates go on break for a couple hours" Scott says. Shelby and Callum nod, "Let's get going" Scott says before using the waystone to teleport himself out. Shelby and Callum do the same and find themselves in a hidden area of the mountain range. And so, they begin their long walk to the Alpine Kingdom.

Soon enough, the League of Vengeance reach their destination, and Shelby soon realised the dramatic change climate as she began to shake. Scott noticed this and pulled off his jacket, putting it around Shelby. Shelby gave him a smile, "T-Thanks" she says.
