Chapter Twenty-Seven - Close Calls

--------- Flower Kingdom Border ---------

Yammy looks around with worried eyes. The darkness has begun to spread very far into the Flower Kingdom. Yammy didn't want to think about it, but she knew that everything was danger. She hoped that all of the other kindgoms were smart enough to send all of their people away.

She looked across the grasslands from the grassy hill that sits on the border of her Kingdom. She could see the darkness spreading, almost like waves, but really, it was the light reflecting off of it. Looking up at the sky, the cloud was getting darker and darker with every passing moment. Yammy's brown hair flew wildly around her as the storm continued to pick up. She gripped her silver sword tightly in her right hand, incase she needed to defend herself.

Thank god she did, cause soon enough, she saw a strange creature with 3 heads charging towards it. Her eyes widened and she jumped down from the hill. She knew she would have no time to run, so she engaged a fight with it.

She threw her sword down towards it's head but missed as the creature jumped out of the way and tried to pounce on her, but Yammy quickly turned around and put her sword through the side of it's chest. It roared in anger and pain before suddenly crumbling to the ground.

Yammy sighed in relief. She knew was a strong fighter, but she was glad that she was able to act fast so she wouldn't get hurt. "Cerba, where are you?" Yammy hears a distorted voice asks. Her eyes widen and she ducks behind a large rock. She hears footsteps coming towards the body of the creature.

"You poor thing" the voice gasps, "I am willing to bet it was one of those pathetic rulers that killed you" she tuts. Yammy peers over and see's a lady with blonde hair, demon horns, wings and tail, and green eyes. Her eyes widen. Who is this lady?

The demon lady looks around and Yammy quickly ducks down again.

"I swore I heard something..." the distorted voice speaks, "Don't hide" she says teasingly.

Yammy, wraps her arms around herself, eyes wide. "*Tut* No matter, I'll find you eventually and you will die, and I'll take back MY throne" the lady smirks before flying away

Yammy peers out, seeing the lady flying away with the dead creature in her arms. "What does she mean by her throne?" Yammy asks quietly.

She sighs, "That was close...".

---------- Desert Kingdom -------------

Shelby helps Scott to push the boat into the water, using all the upper body strength she could. Dream and George were keeping an eye out, in case any strange creatures were to sneak up behind them. Sapnap was pulling the boat from the front.

"I think we're in the clear for now" Dream says from his vantage point. "Yeah, same over here" George calls back.

With one final tug and push, the boat was almost in the water. "Okay, let's get going!" Shelby says, carefully climbing into the boat. Scott gets in after her, followed by Sapnap. George and Dream begin up towards the boat.

"I'll push the boat into the water and then hop in" Dream says.

They all nod and George climbs in. Dream, being the strongest of all 5 of them, begins pushing the boat into the water, and once he did, he hops into it like jumping a fence and sits down on one of the benches. George takes the wheel, since he was the most experienced in that field.

"Shelby, Scott, I'm going to need one of you to guide since I don't really know how to get around this place" he says.

"I got it" Scott says, walking up next to George and pointing East. George nods and begins steering the boat in that direction. They'll be going through the sea for at least 3 hours or so, depending on how rough the waves will be.
