Guilty

Jacob and I went home to Manila the next day. Since dala niya ang Benz niya at dala ko ang BMW ko, we traveled back to Manila separately. Mas nauna akong nakadating sa condo ko at siya ay nakasunod lang sa akin.

I went out of my car, and I saw him parking his. Lumabas na rin siya agad mula sa sasakyan niya. He went to and I encircled my arms around his neck, and he held my waists. He smiled before kissing me on my forehead. I giggled because of how deep his kiss was.

"I want that deep kiss on my lips as well, baby," I teased which made his brows curl. I laughed at his reaction, but I immediately stopped when I saw his amused smile.

He leaned closer to give me a kiss on my lips. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to deepen the kiss. I smiled while moving away but he pulled me again and kissed me repeatedly.

"I thought you wanted this, huh?" he asked, teasing me. I giggled in between our kisses.

"We're in the parking lot, baby," I said. He shook his head and kissed me more.

"I don't care," he said huskily as he deepened the kiss more.

I chuckled and pushed him away from me. Sumimangot siya sa akin kaya na nakurot ko siya sa pisngi niya. I laughed and walked towards the elevator, leaving him massaging his cheeks because of my pinch. Napasobra yata!

I pressed the button and I suddenly felt Jacob's present behind me. I smiled when I felt him reaching for my hand. Nang magbukas ang elevator ay pumasok na kami. While waiting for the elevator to stop on my unit's floor, Jacob started playing with our hands and I was just watching him do as he pleased.

"Are you gonna stay the night, love?" I asked him, still watching him play with my hands.

"I can. Gusto mo ba?" He asked me back. I smiled sweetly at him and blinked my eyes repeatedly. I saw him groaned and hugged me so tight. I laughed.

When the elevator opened, we went outside and went straight to my unit. Binuksan ko 'yon pero inunahan ako ni Jacob na makapasok sa loob kaya nahampas ko siya.

"Unit mo, unit mo, ha?" Inis kong sabi. He just laughed at me which made me roll my eyes at him.

I saw Ace sitting on the breakfast table, drinking coffee. She was still on her lab gown and facing her laptop, probably working on some research or something like that.

"Hi, Ace!" Jacob greeted her, but she just rolled her eyes at him. Natawa ako dahil doon. Lumingon pa sa akin si Jacob at nag-pout.

"Kakauwi mo lang?" I asked Ace the moment I got inside the unit. She was just staring at me with her cold and tired eyes. Kumunot ang noo ko dahil doon. "Are you okay?" I asked while walking towards her. Umupo ako sa upuan sa tabi niya. I leaned on the chair's backrest and stared at her.

Napansin kong lumapit din si Jacob kaya napatingin ako sa kaniya. He shrugged his shoulders then looked at Ace. My gaze went back to Ace. "Hey," I called, reaching for her hand.

She just looked at me, with so much sadness in her eyes. We stayed like that until I saw her tears streaming down her face. I felt my heart getting heavier and heavier. This is the second time I saw Ace cry like this. I could see her hurting so much yet she couldn't do anything but cry.

The Ace I know is really strong and collected. She knows how to handle her emotions. She knows how to pretend well to the point that people wouldn't know that she's already hurting. And the Ace I'm seeing right now is someone I don't see usually.

For a strong and collected person to cry like this, only meant that something is definitely breaking her heart. It's something that she failed to handle alone. It's something that she wanted so bad to get rid of.
