"Oh my God! I am so happy for you, Tinay!" Ace shouted and jumped in excitement. She then hugged me while screaming and I had to cover both my ears because of her high pitch. Ugh, this loud woman!

"Kalma ka lang, Ace. Kalma!" I teased as she parted from the hug and pouted. Pero agad ding bumalik sa ngisi ang ekspresyon niya.

"Super nag-alala akong once na makaalala siya magalit siya sa 'yo at mag-plot ng revenge pero oh my God! Okay na kayo! Sobrang happy ko para sa inyo, jusko!" She continued celebrating. I sighed as I watched her dance in excitement because of what I told her.

"I was also worried noong hindi ka pa umuuwi. Jacob remembered us pero hindi ka niya maalala. He had a selective amnesia for years and tama nga 'yong hinala ko na baka magsimula siyang makaalala ulit kapag umuwi ka at magkita kayo. I was worried na baka masaktan na naman kayong dalawa, but I couldn't help but be happy now that he remembers you and he's courting you now and you two are almost back together!"

Kinuwento ko sa kaniya 'yong nangyari months ago. Ilang buwan kong pinag-isipan kung sasabihin ko ba sa sa kaniya and I was also busy with our project. Ngayon lang ako nakahanap ng time para ikwento sa kaniya dahil isa rin siyang napaka-busy na tao. Madalas siyang wala sa condo namin at halatang sa ospital natutulog these past few months.

I told her everything that happened that night, well except of course for the kiss. I felt my cheeks heated but I couldn't help but let out a deep sigh again. Mukhang napansin 'yon ni Ace kaya napatigil siya sa pagsayaw at dumalo sa akin. Her expression became worried.

"Okay ka lang?" She asked. I smiled faintly at her.

"Dapat ko bang ituloy 'to, babe? I mean, knowing Jacob, hindi siya titigil hangga't hindi ko siya tinatanggap ulit. He even told me that. Pero hindi ko pa rin maiwasang mapaisip kung okay lang ba na hayaan ko siya. Kung okay lang ba na maging masaya ulit kasama siya," I said, and I looked down on the floor. Tears started to pool around my eyes.

I thought Ace was going to tap my shoulder to console me, but she ended up hitting me. My eyes widened as I massaged the part where she hit me. What the heck?

"What the?" I almost cursed, shocked. "Why the heck did you do that? Bakit ka nanghahampas?" I asked her, almost shouting.

"Tanga ka kasi, Tinay!" she shouted back. "Could you please just stop doubting and trust how much you love him? Mahal ka na niya noon pa lang, he told you that! At mahal ka pa rin niya hanggang ngayon. You heard it from his mismo! So, please? Pwede ba? Kahit isang beses magpaka-selfish ka at angkinin na lang siya?" My eyes widened again as everything she said hit the right spot. Parang bigla akong nagising dahil sa mga sinabi niya.

The way she said everything felt like she kept it all in her heart for too long and now she just blurted out everything right at this moment. I saw her glaring at me, but she immediately looked away.

"Kung mahal mo siya talaga, ipaglaban mo." Kalmado na siya nang sabihin niya 'yon. "Kasi baka kapag pinakawalan mo na naman siya, this time, e hindi na siya ulit bumalik sa 'yo." She sounded so disappointed when she said that. I could feel a lump of pain as I stared at her eyes.

"Listen to him, Tinay. Pakinggan mo siya. 'Wag mo akong tularan, please," she said meaningfully. But I knew already what she meant by that.

I sighed and nodded, understanding her point. "You're right, babe," I said. She looked at me again and I smiled at her. "You are definitely right." She smiled back and opened her arms widely, waiting for me to hug her. I chuckled and hugged her.

"God, babe! You deserve to be the happiest with Jacob! Sagutin mo na!" she softly said while rubbing my back, comforting, and congratulating me.

"Thank you, Ace!" sabi ko. She nodded her head and chuckled as we both parted from the hug.
