CHAPTER 25
ENZO'S POV
Different colors of blinking lights over our heads in the large dark room. Bodies dancing on the rhythm of the loud hype music, as the people join with a scream. People taking shots after shots as if it was the last day of their lives.
While the three of us were sitting at our table, watching them having fun.
Eusaff was a 'scam' when he told us we were going to a bar, it turned out we were heading to one of the famous clubs in town.
A man approached us with a grin over his face as Eusaff stood up and walked towards him.—Derek, the owner of the club.
"So glad to see you three here tonight!" Derek shouted to Eusaff's ear as the loud music filled the room.
"Kami rin, man! It's been a while, you know?" Eusaff shouted back, loud enough Derek to hear him.
They talked for a few minutes then we nodded and raised our shot glass at Derek when he bid our goodbyes to us.
We've been friends with Derek for a long time now since Eusaff first met him back when he was in Canada. Derek also owned a bar and it was being managed by his girlfriend.
Loving the taste of alcohol was also one thing they had in common, perhaps.
"Kitang-kita talaga sa mukha niyo nag-e-enjoy kayo." Eusaff exclaimed while he sat down and simultaneously drinking his beer until it was empty.
"Walang pang tama." I smirked and emptied the shot glass of tequila on my mouth. I had already taken five shots of tequila and 3 beers for the past 30 minutes and I haven't felt the alcohol kicked in.
Kevin noticed that my face and ears turned red but I wasn't drunk, yet. I didn't ask for more drinks but a waiter kept on going back to our table and gave us three shot glasses of tequila every 10 minutes and said,
"From the ladies over there, sir." The waiter pointed on the club counter, while two ladies looking at the three of us with a smirk.
My two friends waved at them as I noticed they waved back while I was observing the crowd.
I decided to go to the counter to order some drinks since I noticed I had run out of it, I stood up from my seat and was about to leave when Eusaff asked,
"Saan ka pupunta?" He took another shot of his tequila and put the glass down on the table with a thud.
"Counter." I shouted. He nodded at me with a smirk as I shook my head at him.
I walked towards the counter then sat down on one of the barstools. After I gave my orders, I told the waiter to just bring them to our table.
I was about to leave and go back when a small hand gripped my arm, gently.
"Enzo, it is." She smiled up at me. The same girl I saw who gave us free drinks. I was looking at her small hand on my arm then I darted my eyes to her face, warningly.
She took her hand away and raised her both hands in surrender, chuckling and said,
"I never knew hands-off pala kapag ikaw, Enzo." She smirked at me. I stared at her then suddenly she said again,
"I saw you've been enjoying the drinks I gave you. Wala bang 'thank you' dyan?" She whispered in my ear as I felt the tip of her heels moving up and down through the calf of my leg.
"Anong alak ba gusto mo?" I said as my voice filled with seriousness. I turned my face away from her to look at the different liquors that were displayed on the counter.
