CHAPTER 22 

ENZO'S POV

I wasn't even in a hurry but I had no idea why I drove to my house at 150 mph.

I increased the speed and left Eusaff behind when we were heading home but I guess Eusaff took it as a race so we got home sooner than we expected.

I was in the tub for an hour and I almost fell asleep in there until Aling Maria called me to have dinner. As usual, my parents were not home again so I had my dinner alone while our three maids were working.

When I was done eating my dinner I put the dishes in the sink and said good night to the maids as I walked back into my room.

While I was watching a movie, I did a quick workout. When I was done, I wiped off the sweat around my body and went back to the bathroom to take a shower.

Ewan ko ba. Dapat kasi workout muna bago shower eh.

Once I was done, I did my night routine and my skincare. I came back into my room to put my boxers on and lay down in my bed, watching the movie again until such time I drifted off to deep slumber.

The next day I woke up was something I won't ever look forward to since I will be collecting all the papers that Mr. Castro left us to do and pass it to Ms. Sanchez.

I took my time to get ready for school, I ate my breakfast and waited for my friends to pick me up.

I heard a car honked twice coming from our front yard as Aling Maria was in the living room, cleaning. She peaked behind the curtain to see who it was and she told me it was Eusaff's car.

I bid my goodbyes to her and walked towards my friend's car. I opened the door and slammed it shut until I noticed Kevin wasn't in the backseat once I was inside.

"Sinundo niya si Cynthia sa dorm niya." Eusaff chuckled and drove off to school.

While I was watching a movie last night, my mind was occupied with something else.

I might have no idea why Kevin was courting Cynthia but I wasn't stupid enough to think that something was up and I was certain Eusaff knew about it.

Kevin mentioned her sometimes but only when they teased me to her and he never mentioned Cynthia in a romantic way when three of us having a conversation.

For some years, I know Kevin only liked female who he never met in person. He'd rather spend time talking to some girls online than have a conversation with them in person. – unless if he is drunk.

If he liked someone, he would keep mentioning or talking about that girl even though no one was asking.

But Cynthia?

Trust me, I wasn't pissed or any bad feeling but rather suspicious when he asked the sudden question to her.

I came back to reality when the car stopped in Eusaff's usual spot in the parking lot. We got out as Eusaff locked it and we started to walk to our classroom.

A few minutes later, we were in the room before 7:30, and students were already sitting and chattering with their seatmates.

I caught AJ was looking at me with her usual flirty smile while she wasn't paying attention to whatever her friend was telling her. We walked to our seats and I noticed that Kevin and Cyn weren't in the room yet.

"Nandito na si Fia pero yung dalawa wala pa." Eusaff exclaimed while scrolling through his phone. A few seconds later, Cynthia entered the room by herself and quickly, sat down next to Fia.
