Chapter 45: Wreck

"What's with your face, Aliyah?" I asked while playing at my hair and leaning on my swivel chair, I can't help but smile like a demonic one when I always remember Aly's begging last night.

I kept chuckling last night like a crazy woman, seeing him begging is like a rare moment and I'm the one who saw it. Kung noon ay minahal kita ay ngayon ay kalaban na kita.

"Ma'am, there's someone who wants to talk to you," Aliyah said the reason why I stopped playing my hair and fixed the way I'm sitting, pinatong ko ang dalawang kamay ko sa lamesa at propesyonal siyang tiningnan.

"So this is your office?" someone asked the reason why I became confused because I'm not seeing anyone coming at my office, automatic na napunta kay Aliyah ang iritado kong tingin dahil hindi ko gusto na may pumapasok kaagad sa opisina ko ng hindi ko man lang nalalaman.

"Ma'am, he forced me to--"

"Looking a little demonic, Sienna." someone cut Aliyah the reason why I shifted my eyes on the person who entered my office without my permission, my breathing stopped all of a sudden when I saw a man wearing a tuxedo with his fixed hair.

I just saw him last night but what the fuck is he doing here? I was stunned because after one night, he totally became different in my eyes. Kahit na kaunti lang ang nag-bago sa kanyang pisikal na itsura ay hindi ko pa rin maiwasang matigilan.

"We have the same secretary, I never thought that you will play this seriously and you even trained her to be like you just to fool me?" he said while smirking but I can feel the irritation on his voice.

I closed my fist and trying to hold my patience because this is the game already, he's ready to start the battle with the woman he loved and I'm enjoying it.

I shook my head as if I'm trying to gain my sense, sumandal ako sa lingkuranan ng aking swivel chair at nag-panggap na hindi ako naapektuhan sa kanyang sinabi.

Paano naman niya nalaman, sinabi ba ito ni Aliyah?

"What are you doing here, Architect? You're not even in my schedule but what is the reason of you being here?" I also smirked, isang araw lang pala ang kailangan para mag-bago siya at mukhang sinayang ko pa ang limang taon kong pag-hihintay kung ganon lang pala siya kabilis mag-bago. 

In just one day, you looked different and I don't know if I will be happy or not. Your change is the start of the battle and I will not let you beat me, I'm the one who proposed this war so I will be the one who will win it.

Nilagay niya sa kanyang bulsa ang kanyang dalawang kamay at tinagilid ang kanyang ulo na para bang nakikipag-laro na ito sa akin, kung iyon ang gusto niya ay masaya naman akong sasali.

"Business, I'm here for business." I heard the sarcasm on his voice the reason why I played my tongue trying to gain my act on him because I know that if I will have the partnership with him then I should expect that we will have this professional relationship.

"Then have a seat, I'm glad that business is the reason why you are here." napunta naman ang tingin ko kay Aliyah at sinenyasan ko siya na umalis nalang sa opisina ko, nakuha niya naman kaagad ito at kaagad na lumisan sa opisina.

Bumalik ang tingin ko kay Aly na may ngiti sa aking labi, tumayo ako para sa sofa kami mag-usap "Have a seat, Architect." nasa harap ko naman siya at pilit kong inayos ang upo ko para naman hindi niya mahalata ang pagiging nerbyosa ko.

My business is the plantation, it takes years to build that plantation and I'm blessed that I did it. I'm proud on myself because despite the happenings in my life, there is still a chance that you can change it.
