------------------------------------------------------------------

(Y/N) slid around the tower in fluffy socks. They were the perfect pair for the floor, allowing her just enough slide power to go super fast with minimal effort, but not so much that she smashed into everything, instead she just knocked into the occasional wall.

It was currently two am. And she was up at two am so that she didn't disturb anyone as she was sliding round the tower with her headphones in, dancing to her music. She let her feet slide her down the hallway as she squeezed her eyes shut and mimicked the drum solo.

Suddenly she smashed into something that knocked her onto her but. With a groan she peeled her eyes open to see Clint standing there a look of confusion and amusement on his face. He said something and (Y/N) pulled her headphones out.

"Sorry Bluetooth. What did you say?" She asked, a toothy grin still on her face despite the minor embarrassment she was feeling.

"I asked if you were alright" he offered a hand out to her and she took it, but as he pulled her up her socks once again betrayed her and they both ended up on the floor. She let out a yelp and then a laugh at Clint's own girlish scream.

"You scream like a little girl" she said between laughs, Clint wacked her arm playfully before joining in laughing. The two of them eventually got up off the floor.

"What are you doing up so late anyway?" Clint asked.

"Dancing and sliding down the hall like an idiot. What about you" (Y/N) stated not ashamed of her actions even if she had been doing this at two am to avoid the others.

"Just wanted some water" Clint stated. (Y/N) sat him down on the nearest chair and slipped his slippers off replacing them with a spare pair of less slippy pink socks. "What are you doing?" He questioned cautiously as (Y/N) stood back up.

"Having fun, don't worry you'll be fine" she disconnected her headphones from her phone and placed them on the side table, that was oh so convinently next to them.

Pressing a few buttons and adjusting the volume, the music started to spill out of her phone speakers. She tucked her phone in her back pocket with the speaker end facing upwards so it was sticking out and not muffling the music.

She then pulled Clint up from the chair. He slipped a little before gaining his balance. (Y/N) grasped onto his waist to balance him for a moment, once he'd balanced she moved her hands to interlace with his.

"Come on then" she smiled before sliding of backwards down the hallway at speed, dragging Clint with her. He let out another small scream at her sudden movement, but soon got the hang of the whole sliding thing.

The two of them danced round the tower grinning like idiots. They weren't sure how long had past, but the sun had started to rise and they were currently slidding round a room with a big wall of windows.

The light peaked into the room and Clint loved the way it illuminated (Y/N)'s face as she threw her head back laughing. She looked angelic and he just couldn't help but kiss her when his eyes met hers and her face was stretched in a smile.

She was shocked at first but melted into the kiss. It was perfect, all of it. The way the sun lit up the room, the way his lips felt on hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck and his around her waist as he pulled her closer. As they pulled away from the heavenly kiss, she lent her forehead on his, an even bigger smile on her face then before.

All of a sudden she pulled away from him and slid off as the pair of them began dancing to the upbeat song that started playing.

-bonus-

(Y/N) slid her feet down the hallway gaining speed as she headed towards Clint. As she approached him he grabbed her by the waist and held her above his head. While he spun around she outstretched her arms as if she were flying. With a laugh he placed her down on the ground and connected their lips again.

"It's too early for this" a voice groaned from down the hallway. They both turned to see a disgruntled looking Bucky at the end of the hallway. He yawned and rubbed his eyes.

"I was just dancing with my girl" Clint defended. (Y/N) smiled at the use of the words 'my girl' in context of her. She lent up and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Fluffy socks are the best" she whispered before slidding off to make coffee.
