Crap crap crap crap crap! I was running late! Deku had taken too long to get ready and we were running together to class. While at the junction, we noticed something. A villain, huh? I got pretty used to all this within a few weeks.
It has been three years. Our junior high days were coming to an end, and we were supposed to be choosing our dream jobs. I had already decided to be hero; 1. To be close to the others, and 2. Not a lot of people get the chance to have a strong quirk like I do, so I feel like I should help others with the gift I've been given.
Back to the scene here, Kamui Woods had given his signature speech which was overtook by Mt. Lady tacking the credit. But I mean, she did give the villain a good kick in the face so I don't think stealing the credit is the correct term.
I looked over to the side and saw Deku writing down notes in his hero notebook. He's such a dork.
We rushed to school after that, and got away with being late using the villain as an excuse. We rushed into the class and decided not to make more of a ruckus.
I smiled at Musaki. He and I had been training after school everyday. I had gotten pretty good and I could lift or crush items 10 times bigger than me. He had been ruthless and taught me combat, sparring, quirk training etc. In quirk training he would make lift stuff and crush stuff. I knew what could happen at the entrance exam and I wanted to be ultra ready for it.
My (p/n) had asked me if I wanted to go in through recommendation but I wanted to meet some of the others as well. So I chose both. I told him that wanted to do both and he sent the message over to U. A. They gladly allowed me to take both exams, though only one way would actually be considered as my 'true' entrance exam.
The teacher's voice brought me out of my daydream/lore exposure.
"I was going to give you this sheets to decide what you wanted to work as but I already know that all of you want to be heroes!" Everyone whoo-ed and cheered. And Bakugou's classic line was about to be born.
"Don't mix me in with these extras. I'm gonna get into U. A. and I'm going to be the #1 hero. I'm gonna be even better than All Might himself! And all of you are just extras that are in my way."
Oof. Harsh much? Typical Bakugou. The teacher looked down into some random sheet. "Don't you wanna get into U. A. too, Midoriya and (l/n)? Considering your (p/n) is a hero, you have pretty good chances of getting in (l/n)!"
"Oh! U-uh... thanks.. but Deku has good chances too.... right?"
"Pshh! Shitty Deku won't be able to do anything! He's a quirkless little baby, right Deku?" The class erupted into laughter as the teacher looked helplessly at his students.
"Bakugou! Please!" Bakugou mumbled something and turned around, sitting back down in his iconic 'proper' way of sitting.
The end of class bell rang and everyone rushed and packed up, quickly filling out the classroom. I liked to wait for him to make sure he didn't get hurt with his constant bullying. Deku was still packing his stuff when Bakugou and his goons came in.
"Hey Deku! Do you wanna be hero, you quirkless idiot?"
"Bakugou, please. Just leave him alone..."
"Got your little bodyguard here with you, huh? You would definitely need it, quirkless Deku! What ya got there?" He pushed me out of the way and grabbed Deku's notebook. He went near the window and stood there, tauntingly smirking at me.
"Katsuki, please. You don't have to do this..."
He looked shocked for a moment, but quickly covered it up by blasting Deku's notebook a throwing it out the window. Damn it, Katsuki! He laughed and walked out the room. Right before leaving he left a sarcastic remark. "If you wanna be a hero that badly, maybe you should take a svandive out the top of a building and hope for a quirk in your next life."
We watched as he left. I turned back towards Deku and apologized for not doing anything. We walked outside and collected his book. The koi fish were trying to eat it. Deku sighed and and took the book.
"Hey (y/n) (yes he calls you by your first name), you probably didn't know but... I wrote about Kacchan in here too. I have always admired him and I know all his attacks by heart.... You're lucky too (y/n). You have great parents and an amazing quirk! You'll definitely make a great hero!"
"Deku... Let me tell you something. I know for sure that you will be the best hero alive! After All Might of course. And I know for sure that you and I are gonna be working together in the near future. You hear me? You better get into U. A. my dude."
Musaki ran up to us and smiled. "Where have you guys been?! I've been waiting for so long! And (y/n)! We have to train today remember?"
"Aight aight. I'm coming. See you later then!" I waved him goodbye and rushed away with Musaki.
"Ok. I know I told you we were going to train but you probably know what's going to happen to them, so we're gonna wait and walk around that area. You wanna see it happen, don't you?"
I nodded my head and walked with him to the city. We walked around the city and sat down at a restaurant and ordered some food.
Musaki had decided to try and join the 'support group' class instead of joining hero course. He explained that the hero course will have 22 students. As far as I knew, canonically, there were only 20 students, not including me. So, I had to meet another person who I knew nothing about. This ought to be fun.
Somewhere elsewhere, I knew the sludge monster was being chased by All Might. Deku... please... stay safe.
