We were having a great start. My plan was working pretty well so far. I sat on top of my throne made of boys and stared at the other groups. Now to checkmate the king.

"Okay. Listen up! My quirk helps me to attack in long range. That means we probably won't have to fight one on one with others. So I don't want any bad blood coming out. We're going to stay undercover and not make any big moves. We have to think strategically."

They all nodded and explained their quirk to me. Well, everyone except Toshi. He was still a bit insecure. But that was fine. We could deal with that later. When it came to who sat on top, everyone voted me to stay on top. I agreed, though I blushed most of the time I was on top. We missed Shoto's ice by a hair and I almost cried of happiness. I shouldn't be losing before I even start. We slowly stole headbands making sure that no one noticed us.

Letting out a sigh, I noticed that we had stolen the headbands from almost all the 'weaker' players. The others had made sure to warn me if someone tried to attack us so that I could fend them off. The only thing they needed to worry about was their safety and carrying me.

"Hey, you guys? Do you think we're ready to take on the kingpin?"

"Huh?"

"Do you want that one million?"

Shoto was chasing Izu. He and Hatsume were on the air and flying away to safety. "Hey Toshi. Let's move over there, next to them. I have a feeling Shoto is going to close access to them soon." He nodded and beckoned them to move over. As soon as we reached the round area, Shoto closed off the area.

Okay, slo and steady wins the race. That's what's important. "Stand right next to ice." I whispered. "We don't want them noticing us." I knew Shoto was about to take the headband, and I couldn't risk them getting it.

As soon as they landed, I started moving the headband. I was lucky considering the headbands were on his neck. I untied the headband and slowly dragged it to the side. I made sure the headband was underneath the others so that it would be easier, but float above the skin of his neck. Biting my lips, I made the final pull which brought the headband to Izu's back. It reached the floor and I slowly and steadily pulled it to us.

Iida started running towards them, and I knew they didn't notice the headband. The angle and tension in the room was perfect, for us at least. I saw Shoto steal another headband, but not notice since he was too carried away. I stiffened a laugh and stuck close to the ice. Who knew I could be this controlled with my quirk! Musaki did a good job!

Watching the drama happen was very anxiety inducing. Though I knew we were in the lead, it still made me feel anxious. It didn't help when Katsu blew threw the ice neither. He jumped up ready to attack, but that's when Shoto's fire side erupted. Muttering a curse word, I did what I thought was a good idea.
