Chapter 13 : Returning to Berk

Hiccup's POV

I woke up to the sound of sobbing, I opened my eyes and saw Astrid crying in her sleep, I moved over to her, and put my arm around her to calm her down. " Astrid, what happened? Why are you crying?" I asked. Astrid woke up and replied" I just had a bad dream, that's all." 

" Okay, it is still early go back to sleep," I told her with my arms still around her, she leaned forward and rested her head on my chest. Satisfied, I went back to sleep.

Astrid's POV

In my nightmare I saw Hiccup sacrificing himself in third person. Hiccup ran off into the woods, crying and ran into the cove where he met a night fury who happened to be there and was scared. Then, I appeared and the Night Fury shot a plasma blast at me knocking me unconscious. Hiccup raised his dagger and charged,  but the Night Fury used its tail to hit him next to me and as the night fury approached , he gave me a small kiss on my lips and ran to distract it, he ran and the Night Fury gave chase, Hiccup then proceeded to stab the beast but the beast overpowered him and  ate his  legs then  his arms while he was screaming in pain that threw him in its mouth and... " Astrid, what happened? Why are you crying?" H asked. I woke up and replied" I just had a bad dream, that's all." He had his arms around me with my head near his chest." Okay, it is still early go back to sleep," H told me with his arms still around me, I leaned forward and buried my head in his muscular chest. In his embrace, I went to sleep and had no nightmares anymore.

Hiccup's POV

I had my arms around her and her beautiful head buried in my chest. But now,  I was her master. Wait, are we even friends anymore or something else. No! I do not have any feelings for her anymore. Wait Do I? I was interrupted by toothless saying, Oh My gosh, they did the thing, You guys are now mates right?

We didn't do anything inappropriate toothless and we are just friends I replied in dragonese while sitting up and getting off the bed.

No you guys are so together, I am telling everyone, Toothless claimed

No, if not we are not coming back to Dragons Edge for a month, I replied in dragonese.

Relax, I was only joking, and by the way your girlfriend just woke up.

I turned to see Astrid waking up and staring at me intensely. " Good morning milady, its time to go back to Berk," I said. Astrid nodded her head and headed fot the exit,

"When am I going to learn about dragons master H?"Astrid asked. I smiled at the thought that I was the one in control and more powerful this time.

" Oh, you are just my helper to help manage the scaldrons to clean the place, and also to be with me at meetings because you can relate better to them than my friends," I said.
"Then, why couldn't you have accepted someone else instead of me,why did you pick me?!!" Astrid shouted.

"Because, I wanted someone like you to help, you have a aura of authority and can control the scaulrons better," I answered and also because you are pretty, tough and I want payback and to  be in control of you for once. Come on Bud, let's ride! I told toothless. Toothless approaches and I climb on with Astrid. " Okay, no screaming this time, if you are cold you can put your face in my back but no screaming ok?" I said.

" Shut up, ... ... master," she says. I smiled, she looked especially  lovely today with the sun shining on her golden hair, No! Stop staring.

" Ok then let's go," I said and we took off with Astrid clinging onto my chest and still screaming.

Time Skip

 We arrived at Berk and Gobber shouted," Night Fury, get down!" Astrid was screaming her head off as we landed.
