The Dragon Master

Chapter 19: Dragons' edge

Hiccup's POV

When I woke up, i saw a goddess in my arms once again. I recalled the previous day's events. Wait, we were probably at Dragons' edge already. 

H: Astrid, wake up.

Astrid: HMM

H: It's time to go.

Astrid: Okay.

She opened her eyes and I got up. I held out my hand for her and she took it. I felt a spark when out hands touched. I helped her up.  

We went to wash up and I headed out of the room. I went back to my own room quickly and washed up as well. Then, i headed to the deck of the ship to see if we were there yet. It was foggy and hard to see. Yup! We were there. 

Astrid joined me then the others started filling in. Then, the sun rose and the fog cleared to reveal a gigantic island surrounded by fog. Everyone gasped. 

Then, people's weapons started disappearing. Astrid was next to me and a lot of angry vikings shouted. Then, Astrid's axe disappeared. She turned on me and cried a little into my shoulder. That axe meant a lot to her. It was with her through everything even when I was back  on Berk.

H: I will get it back Astrid, I WILL GET ALL THE THINGS BACK

I'M BACK! GIVE THEM ALL THEIR WEAPONS BACK, OR ELSE! I shouted in dragonese. 

Suddenly, the fog cleared and the weapons all returned to their owners. 

" That was my first defense," I announced.

"That is for taking my axe," Astrid said and punched me in the shoulder, which end up hurting her instead, then she kissed my cheek and said," and that is for giving it back.

We both blushed.

Snotlout: Will you get a room.

We both blushed. 

Astrid: We are not dating.

Tuffnut: Yeah, only sleeping together, that's all and kissing each other here and there.

Astrid hit him on the head and he was knocked out. We both blushed, it was true, but they will never like me. 

Fishlegs: WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! YOU HAVE SO MANY PLACES FOR DRAGINS AND SO MANY DRAGONS! 

We arrived and we got off. Speed stingers came and were about to attack when they saw me. 

Master, the commander said, who are these humans.

I told you not to despise them, I know they hunt and kill you but these are practically harmless, I replied in dragonese.

Fishlegs: Who are these?

H: My third line of defense. 

Fishlegs: What's the second?

H: Seashocker and different tidal dragons, but we didn't see them because they recognized the tidal dragons moving the ships. 

Then, out came a Deadly Nadder and a Flightmare. They all cowered in fear. 

Welcome back! They cheered. 

H: It's okay, they won't attack.

Everyone calmed down and slowly retraced their footsteps cautiously. 

Even Astrid was scared. I put my arm around her and she calmed down. 

Fishlegs looked at the dragons in wonder. 

H: Come on, let's go to your rooms. 

I beckoned for them to follow and we trekked through the woods.
