Chapter 29

If this motherfvcker don't get his foul breath ass out of my face, I'm going to puke up my breakfast.

Leaning against the wall of my dressing room, with my arms folded under my breast. I listen to my co star brag about his achievements throughout his career. I wasn't impressed to say the least, he won one fucking award...and that was a BET award. Who the hell brags about that, BET ain't shit...they lost me years back when they started to allow trashy performers perform on their stage.

He wasn't so good looking either, his lips were paper thin, he had those small black moles on his face that older black people tend to have, and his nose was in need of some surgery. It looked as if the bridge was crushed in. That's probably why he breaths so funny when he laughs. The n!gga probably holds his breath.

"So have you ever been to a comedy show?" He asked as he poured himself a cup of water from the fountain I was standing next to.

I shook my head. "No I haven't."

He sipped from his cup, and leaned against the wall next to me. "Would you like to go to a comedy show with me next weekend?"

I furrowed my brows as I jerked my head back. "Are you serious right now?"

He smirked nodding his head.

This fool was beyond trifling, janet is the one signing his check and he has the nerve to step to me knowing her and I are together.

"I'm as serious as a heart attack."

I burst into a fit of laughter as I shook my head.

"Look.." I rest my hand on his shoulder. "Your about twenty years my senior, I would never give you the time of day even if your last name was Gates...you hear me?" I pat his shoulder a few times then I walked away. Stupefied by my rejection, he had the nerve to say some slick shit under his breath.

Nigga please.

If he thought he could scoop me up just for bragging about a damn award, he had thought wrong.

After wrapping up our last scene for this month I was over joyed at the fact that I was going to finally see my baby in the morning. It was eight o'clock, I was tired but I needed to eat. I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast.

After the cab dropped me off at my hotel, I showered, changed and then I walked down the street to the small Wing Stop that had, lights there...it was lit up like las Vegas. But the building was the size of that small church you would pass by in your hood all the time, and you would see a ton of people coming out of. Wondering how in the hell all of those people were able to fit.

I went up to the booth, and ordered wing's and fries. So unhealthy but I can afford to cheat, even though I do it too often. After paying I sat at the bench nearby and waited on my food. I decided to call janet, while I waited since I hadn't heard her voice all day.

I pulled my phone out, and called her hoping she wasn't still in bed crying. She picked up on the third ring.

"Hello?"

I smiled at the sound of her soft voice. "Hey Janet...we're finally finished!" I exclaimed as I stuffed my free hand in the pocket of my jacket.

"That's great...I actually spoke with the executive producers and they informed me that no more traveling will be needed since we already have a majority of the shots we need. Plus we have an interview next week on the Today show."
