So y'all, I would like to thank all of you for reading and voting! It means the world to me. If you have any suggestions or ideas for the story, please message me or comment! I've been listening to Klaine duets in between classes on repeat for inspiration, and I still have writer's block, so this is probably just a filler chapter.

Please comment on the chapters, nobody likes a silent reader!

Also, how many of you are doing distance learning? Well, whether you are or not, stay safe!

At the end of the night, Kurt had to drive Brittany, Santana, Sam, Mercedes, Blaine, Artie, Tina and Mike to their houses. Quinn had decided to stay at Puck's house, which led Kurt to wondering if something was going on between them. Kurt had dropped off all the girls first then the boys. And in case you're wondering, he was driving Mike's car, because Mike lived nearest to him and he really didn't want to spend half an hour walking home at 1 in the morning. Being kidnapped was not on his to-do list today.

¨Thank you Kurt. You are the best designated driver ever.¨ Mike said as they got out of the car. He gave Kurt a quick hug, then snuck inside. After that encounter, Kurt walked around the block and headed home. He got to his house, and sneakily entered through the back door. He thought he was in the clear until a light in the living room was turned on. Burt Hummel was sitting in a chair facing Kurt with a disapproving look.

¨C'mon kid. Coming home at 1:00 am? Where have you been? Finn told me that you guys were going to the library.¨ Burt said. Kurt mentally cursed Finn.

"I was just...." Kurt was grasping at some excuse. When he couldn't think of one, he decided to tell the truth. Well, at least part of the truth. "All of my friends needed rides home so I drove them." Burt didn't look convinced.

"Whose car did you drive then? Finn brought your Navigator home 2 hours ago." Burt said, and a second later looked scandalized. "Kurt you weren't giving anyone inappropriate touches, were you? Buddy, you're 17. And you matter. You just got to McKinley, don't just throw yourself around like you don't matter. Because you do."

"Dad. Please. Stop. I just drove Mike's car because he...couldn't......tonight." Kurt looked down at his feet. Wow! He thought. These are really nice shoes. When he looked up, he saw realization dawning on Burt's face.

"You kids are drinking now?"

"Finn and I didn't have any! I don't understand why you're so upset, I did the right thing." Kurt didn't believe he had done anything wrong. He had driven them all home safe.

"Kid, the right thing would have been to not go to a place with teenage drinking at all. Now I'm glad that you and Finn said no to alcohol, but I don't think that the friends you should make are the ones binge drinking, or drinking at all in high school." Burt saw that Kurt looked really upset and nervous, and his gaze softened. "You got a bright future Kurt. Just please don't throw it away on something as stupid as underage drinking."

"Okay Dad. I'll head to bed now. I love you." Kurt started to climb the stairs, then Burt stopped him."

"Hey Buddy, bring it in." Kurt embraced with his father, making it the third hug he had received that night. "Oh and Kurt?"

"Yes Dad?"

You are definitely grounded."
