I arrived home from my last day of school, throwing my bag down on my floor and collapsing on my bed.
"I'm done, I'm finally done." I breathed out to myself as my phone chimed, I sat up and walked over to my bag, pulling out my phone to see a text from Tom, my boyfriend.-
Tommy x: Last day of school, ice cream?
Ronnie: Music to my ears :)
Tommy x: Good cuz im downstairs
Ronnie: On my way :)
-I smiled down at my phone before grabbing my wallet and walking down the stairs of my house to my front door, and out to where Tommy was waiting for me. I gave him a hug hello before following him over to his car, getting in the passenger side as he got in the front.
"So your last day of Hell, how does it feel?" He asked, smiling over to me before turning back to the road.
"Ugh, I don't know, it's scary. I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to do next year, and I think I have an idea." I started but he cut me off as he pulled up.
"Yeah, we'll talk about it inside." He said, getting out of the car, so I did so as well. We walked inside, ordering an ice cream each before finding a booth."Okay so tell me, what are you thinking?" He asked as we sat down.
"I'm going to be a singer, I'm moving to LA." I replied and he nodded, thinking for a moment.
"LA... That's where your brother is, right?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, if I move there I can pursue my music, and be close to him, I mean you've seen how hard it's been since he left." I answered and he nodded.
"I think you should do it." He thought out loud and I smiled back at him.
"Thanks," I replied.
"I'm coming, you know that, right?" He smirked, my smile widening.
"Really? You'd move to LA with me?" I asked and he nodded.
"Of course, I'm sure my dad will give us some money that'll settle us for a year or so. We'll start looking for apartments tomorrow." He informed and I smiled.
"I actually found one, it's a two bedroom one bathroom, 16th floor apartment. It's close to where my brother lives and I've got a job singing at a bar close by as well." I answered and he smiled.
"Sounds good, we'll just send my dad the check every month." he smiled and I nodded.
"Lovely, thanks Tommy." I smiled back at him.--
Tommy dropped me back off at home and I headed up to my room, I had already packed half of my room over the week, so I decided to call Josh.
"Ronnie!" Josh's voice called out as he answered the phone.
"Hey Joshy, what's up?" I asked in return.
"Uh, not a lot. Just finished filming a tea-talk. What about you?" He asked in return.
"I'm, um, moving to LA." I answered and I heard screaming in the background.
"RONNIE'S MOVING TO LA!? WHAT?!" I heard someone's voice call out.
"Wait are you being serious?" He asked and I nodded, despite him not being able to see me.
"Yeah, I've found an apartment that's close to you guys and a job singing at a bar and I..." I went to continue but was cut off by some yelling on the other side of the phone.
"Hi, this is Bryce." The voice from before told me, somewhat out of breath.
"Hi Bryce. This is Veronica." I smiled and I heard banging and yelling from his end, "What is going on?"
"I stole Josh's phone and am now locked in the bathroom." He explained and I laughed at him.
"Okay, because that's normal." I laughed as I sat on my floor, continuing to pack for LA.
"So you're moving here." He said.
"Yeah, I am." I answered.
"Sooo, are you hot?" He asked and I laughed.
"Well, I've been told so, but I also have a boyfriend. So bad luck for you." I answered.
"AND SHE'S ALSO WAY OUT OF BOUNDS!" Josh called out and I smiled at my phone.
"Yeah, sounds like it. Anyway, when are you moving?" Bryce asked.
"Uh, tomorrow." I answered.
"No way! Well I look forward to meeting you. Here's your brother." He said as I heard silence for a second.
"Sorry about him. He's an ass." Josh laughed, back on the phone.
"Aha it's okay." I laughed.
"So you're coming tomorrow, right?" He asked and I nodded again.
"Yeah, I am. And my first gig is tomorrow night, you guys should come down." I thought.
"Oh of course, text me through the addy and time, and we'll all be there. I can't wait to see you again, Ronnie." He accepted and I smiled against the phone.
"Yeah, can't wait to see you two Joshy. But I gotta keep packing so I'll see you then." I smiled.
"Yeah see you then." He hung up the phone, I placed it down next to me so that I could finish packing.---
We landed in LA, with all of our bags and made our way out to the cab that I had ordered. Tommy's father had paid off the owner of the apartment so that we could keep the furniture that was already in the apartment. We made our way to our new apartment, before spending the day unpacking our things.
"So what's the plan for tonight?" Tommy asked at about 6:30, as he walked into our room.
"Uh, I have a gig in about an hour, and then after that we're going out for drinks with Josh and his friends." I informed and he nodded.
"okay, and after that?" He asked, making me glance up to him.
"After that we'll come back here." I answered and he smirked slightly.
"And you know, you owe me." He smirked and my brow furrowed.
"I owe you?" I asked.
"Yeah, well we couldn't do anything because your parents are real strict and now we're here... alone... And I moved to LA for you." He informed and I nodded.
"Oh, okay." I whispered and he nodded.
"Okay good."
