20. Cigarettes and Coconut

I dressed into some blue boyfriend jeans and a black tee shirt, leaving my hair out and applying my makeup. I walked down to the kitchen, where Avani and Mads were already drinking.
"Hey guys." I smiled as I grabbed myself a white claw out of the fridge.
"Hey, we haven't seen you all day!" Avani screamed as she gave me a hug.
"Yeah, even when Nick was here." Mads smirked, a small smile crawling onto my face.
"Oh, he was here? Damn, I guess I'll just see him tonight." I replied as I opened the drink.
"Wait a white claw? Who drinks those... hmmm?" Mads pretended to think, I rolled my eyes as a response.
"Bryce, Josh, Ryland..." I faded out and Avani smirked.
"Say it. Just say who you're thinking about." She smirked, I shook my head.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I replied, unable to remove the smile from my lips.
"God she's so smitten. I remember being like that about Jaden." Mads smiled and Avani nodded.
"Yeah, I didn't stop smiling for a month after Anthony and I got together." Avani agreed, wrapping her arm around my shoulder. "Don't worry. You'll be fine. Ronnie and Nicky sitting in a tree."
"Shut the fuck up Avani." I rolled my eyes as Anthony and Bryce walked down the stairs.
"Don't tell my baby to shut up." Anthony pouted, giving Avani a hug from behind.
"Ugh, you two are so cute. Makes me sick." Bryce groaned and I gave Mads a look, who gave me a shrug back.
"Are you and Adds on bad terms again?" I asked Bryce as he grabbed three white claws out of the fridge, handing one to me and Anthony, leaving one for himself.
"I don't even know dude. We were going so good and then all of a sudden she wouldn't answer my calls and won't come over." He groaned again.
"Well, maybe just give her some space for a few hours before going to find her, then sit down and have a civilized conversation. No yelling, no fighting. And just make sure she's okay." I offered and he smiled slightly.
"Thanks Ronnie." He smiled, giving me a small hug and leaving his arm around my shoulder.

"Okay! Let's get going!" Josh called as he, Quinton, Jaden and Kio walked down the stairs, Noah and Blake were already there because they left with Nick. Josh looked over at the group before pointing at me and Bryce, "Get your arm off my little sister."
"Yessir." Bryce smirked, removing his arm off of my shoulder. We followed the others outside and decided to walk to Hype, pushing past the queue at the front door and entering the party. I walked into the kitchen, grabbing myself a white claw out of the fridge, when suddenly I felt a pair of hands on my hips and a breath on my ear.
"That better not be one of mine." Nick's voice said into my ear and I smiled as I turned around, giving him a small hug.
"And what if it is?" I asked in return and he chuckled slightly.
"Eh, it's alright. Only cuz you're pretty." He smiled, leaning down and quickly pecking my cheek.
"HEYY RONNIE!" Ryland yelled from across the room, starting to make his way of to us.
"He's already wasted." Nick whispered in my ear and I smiled slightly as he reached us, engulfing me in a massive bear hug.
"Hey Rylo." I smiled, hugging him back. When we pulled apart, I looked back at Nick, only just noticing that he was wearing a hat and sunglasses with an orange button-up. "You know it's nighttime? Like there's no need for a hat or glasses." 
"Yeah, but then I get to see you wearing it." He smirked, taking the cap off of his head, placing it on my head. "Stunning."
"Fuck that was some cute shit." Mads' voice said, glancing to my side I saw her and Ryland smiling back at us.
"Yeah it was." Ryland nodded, I rolled my eyes as I grabbed onto Nick's hand.

"You got some smokes?" I asked and he nodded slightly, I pulled him outside to the couches. I rested my legs over his lap as he grabbed out a couple of cigarettes. I rested my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes as I puffed on mine.
"You alright?" He asked and I nodded slightly.
"Yeah, just tired I guess." I whispered back as his fingers intertwined with mine, his thumb drawing small circles on my skin. He pressed his lips to the top of my head as I breathed in his smell. I'll never get over the smell of coconuts that surrounded him. 
"You staying here tonight?" He asked and I shrugged.
"Uh, I don't know." I replied and he nodded.
"Please stay." He pouted, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Ugh. Fine." I rolled my eyes, pretending to be annoyed. "Only because you're cute."
"Aww lucky me." He smiled back, pecking my cheek quickly. I noticed the door open, Avani and Mads' heads sticking out and looking over at us.
