*still at the party just fyi*
I was sitting in the living room, talking to Addison and Dixie because they had forced me to go over. I glanced around the room, noticing that Nick was standing in the corner, talking to a girl.
"Hey, uh, whose that? Talking to Nick." I asked, pushing their attention over.
"Oh, that's Amelie." Dixie smiled and Addison nodded.
"Yeah, remember you met her that one time at the bar?" Addison continued.
"Oh, right, I don't remember much of that night." I smirked, making them both chuckle slightly, "Wait, didn't Nick, like, break her heart or something? Like why is she still talking to him?"
"Ooh, someone's jealous." Addison laughed and I shrugged.
"Okay, maybe. I mean, Nick and I are still new, how do I know he's not going to treat me like..." I started but was cut off my Dixie.
"Nick's not Tommy, he's only got eyes for you, kid. You've got him going crazy." Dixie smiled, causing my stomach to flip around.
"And if you're worried about her, go over. I mean Blake's there, so why can't you be. You'll see that her and Blake are really serious and she's actually a really nice girl." Addison continued, and I nodded slightly.
"Yeah okay. I will. Thanks Addi." I smiled back, giving them both small hugs before walking into the kitchen. I grabbed myself a new drink, before starting to walk towards the three."Hey guys." I smiled as I approached the group, Nick glancing down at me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Hey Ronnie, how was it in the studio?" Blake asked and I nodded back.
"So good. It was so much fun!" I smiled and I felt Nick take a deep breath.
"Yeah with Trent." He growled and my brow furrowed, suddenly thinking back to the night I met Nick, how Tommy had acted.
"Nick, please don't." I groaned, giving him a look.
"Am I missing something?" Amelie asked and I shook my head.
"No, sorry, Nick's just having some issues with a work friend of mine." I replied with a soft smile.
"You've met the guy once, now he's a work friend?" Nick asked and I shook my head, feeling more memories of Tommy flood back to me.
"Dude, let it go. Or talk about it later." Blake whispered and I nodded.
"I'm going somewhere else." I whispered to the group before turning to Nick, "And I don't think I'm going to sleep here tonight. Sorry about this, I'll talk to you guys later." I walked away from the group, grabbing a new drink and walking towards Bryce and Ryland, who were smoking outside."Hey Ronnie!" Ryland said when he saw me.
"Hey Ry, hey Bryce. Do you guys mind if I sit here for a while?" I replied and they nodded.
"Yeah, you smoke?" Bryce replied as I sat across from them, shaking my head.
"Yes, please, I just didn't feel like partying right now." I replied and he nodded, handing me a cigarette.
"Is everything okay?" Ryland asked, me shaking my head in response.
"He got... I don't know, like, jealous. Like Tommy used to before..." I started and Bryce nodded.
"Oh." Bryce whispered.
"Fuck." Ryland groaned, taking a puff of his cig and me doing so as well.
"What'd he get jealous about?" Bryce asked and I shrugged.
"I don't know, the guy that's producing my song. His name is Trent and he's about 20 or so... But I've met him once. And I have to spend more time with him. And I don't want this to be an issue between me and Nick." I groaned, Ryland nodding slightly.
"Yeah, the same thing happened with Amelie..." He started, stopping when he noticed my brow furrowed, "You do know they dated right?"
"Yeah, I know that. But Nick told me it ended because he wasn't ready for a serious relationship." I whispered and he nodded in response.
"Oh, well, there was a guy who Amelie started to become friends with, and... I guess it started to become more and more friendly, and Nick got more and more jealous. And I guess... Nick kind of pushed Amelie into cheating." Ryland explained, Bryce nodding along to the story.
"Yeah, poor Nick, and then he couldn't tell everyone about it because it was so painful. Then she told everyone at Sway that he cheated." Bryce continued, my jaw dropping.
"So that's why he's acting so weird about everything?" I asked and the two nodded slightly.
"Yeah, also why Josh doesn't want you dating him. Because he still thinks Nick cheated, he doesn't believe it when we tell him it was Amelie." Bryce continued, me nodding slightly.
"Oh. Fuck." I whispered, "I need to go find him."
"Good luck." Ryland replied, I sent him a smile back as I put out my cigarette, walking back into the party. I walked into the room, looking around trying to find Nick before I saw him. He was talking to Amelie in a dark part of the room. My brow furrowed as I noticed Amelie look past Nick, making brief eye contact with me before... before they kissed?--
*Nick's P.O.V, 10 minutes earlier*
She walked away, probably to go call Trent. Ugh, what does he want with her? I know how guys act around Ronnie, she may be oblivious, but most of the guys in this place have said how hot she is, or at least, they did before they found out about our 'thing'.
"Hey Nick, are you okay?" Amelie asked and I nodded slightly.
"Yeah, it's not like this situation is familiar or anything." I replied, giving her a look.
"Nick, let's go talk." She smiled, grabbing my arm softly before pulling me into a corner. "Nick, do you really like this girl?"
"Yeah, more than anyone else I've ever dated." I whispered, in response.
"Then, honestly? Don't push her over the edge like you did to me..." She whispered and I nodded.
"You're right, I..." I started noticing her look behind me, "What?" I started, about to turn around before I felt a hand wrap around my neck, pulling my head down until Amelie's lips touched mine.I instantly pulled away, glancing over my shoulder to see Ronnie looking back at me.
What the fuck.

*Ronnie's P.O.V*
I felt my eyes start to water over as Nick glanced back at me. I shook my head back at him as I started walking towards the front door.
"Ronnie, baby, please. Don't go." I heard Nick say, turning around as I reached the door.
"DON'T... call me baby anymore. Just, enjoy your fucking party." I growled, walking out the door before speed walking back to Sway. I walked up the stairs to my room, taking a quick shower before changing into an over-sized hoodie, that I knew, from the scent of coconut, was Nick's and some booty shorts. I lied down in my bed before there was a knock at my bedroom door.
"Don't come in!" I called out, my head digging into my hands as I heard my door open. "Fuck off Nick."
"I didn't kiss her." His voice whispered as I felt tears fall down onto my pillow.
"I saw you, Nick. I fucking saw you." I groaned, sitting up as he walked closer to me. "Stay the fuck there. Why did you even care about Tommy coming here last night? Or why did you fucking care about me working with Trent? If this whole time you've been doing..." And
"Don't say that. I didn't kiss her, she kissed me, I don't know why but she did." He insisted and I shook my head.
"Why would she do that? Come on Nick." I groaned.
"And why would I kiss her? Ronnie, I'm crazy about you." He asked in return, me shaking my head.
"Then why didn't you tell me that it was her who cheated on you?" I asked, his brow furrowing.
"How did you... How did you hear that?" He asked, walking over and sitting next to me on my bed.
"Ryland and Bryce." I whispered and he nodded.
"Right." He whispered, "I promise I didn't kiss her."
