I was still awake when Nick started to stir. We were both still naked, wrapped up in each others arms, I had my head dug into his chest and his head was resting on top of mine. He took a deep breath, tightening his grip around me momentarily as he pecked my forehead. He sat up slightly, folding the blanket over me as he climbed out of the bed. I watched him dress into some sweatpants and throw on a hoodie before he started walking over to the door.
"Where are you going, Nicky?" I asked, groggy from my lack of sleep.
"Shit, did I wake you?" He asked, walking closer to the bed.
"No, don't worry about it." I replied.
"Okay, we just have a house meeting downstairs. House members only so wait here for like an hour before coming down." He informed and I nodded. "There's Netflix on the tv, if you want."
"Thanks Nicky." I smiled back as he leaned over the bed to peck my lips, before watching him walk out of the room. I turned on the tv, watching 'The Breakfast Club' because it goes for an hour and a half.

Once the movie ended, I climbed out of bed and changed into the clothes that I was wearing the night before, because if I were to change into Nick's clothes it would cause too much attention from the rest of the group. I started to walk downstairs to see Avani, Anthony, Nick, Josh, Bryce, Noah, Dixie, Addison, Ryland and Nessa waiting for me.
"We were wondering when you'd come down." Avani smiled.
"Why? What's up?" I asked back, brow furrowed.
"Well, apparently your birthday is next week." Nick asked, giving me a weird look.
"And we thought we'd go on a little trip, for the week, to... Hawaii!" Addison finished my jaw dropping.
"What?! We don't have to do that," I insisted but Dixie shook her head.
"Nope, shut up. We're making you go." She retorted, I rolled my eyes jokingly as a response.
"Ugh, fine." I smirked, giving them all a hug. "Thanks guys. When do we leave?"
"Two days." Bryce replied.
"Okay, that's definitely enough time to pack a weeks worth of cute outfits." I said sarcastically, the group dispersing around the room.

"Ronnie, why'd you sleep here last night?" Josh asked and I shrugged.
"Oh. Uh, I was drunk and came home with some of the Hype members and they offered me the spare room so I slept there." I lied and he nodded slightly.
"Yeah alright." He nodded, walking away from me as I poured myself a cup of coffee.
"So, uh, why didn't you tell me that your birthday was next week?" Nick's voice asked, I glanced up to see him standing next to me, leaning on the counter.
"What? oh. I. Um, didn't think it was really that important." I replied, looking down at my coffee. He moved slightly closer to me, and I could tell that he was about to touch me in some way. "Nick. We're in public." He nodded slightly, taking a step away from me.
"Why didn't you think it was important?" He asked, brow furrowed.
"Well, growing up in the house that I did, my birthday wasn't really celebrated. You know? It's the day that my mother died and the day that my dad brought home his mistresses child." I answered, "So the only people that wanted to celebrate my birthday were my siblings. Well, actually it was only Josh. None of the other siblings like me very much."
"Right, I, uh... I forgot, about your whole, mom thing." He whispered back and I nodded.
"Yeah." I replied, still staring down at my hands, his hand reached up to rub against my arm softly.
"Hey, cuddles tonight?" He asked, smiling softly back down at me. I took a deep breath as I moved my gaze from my hands, up to his gorgeous smile.
"Sounds good. But I have to work first. At the bar." I answered, his smile growing as he brought his arm back to his side.
"Ooh, got any new stuff?" He asked, me nodding back in return.
"Yeah, a little." I answered.
"Can't wait."

I dressed into a white tee shirt with some skinny blue jeans and some white shoes, applied my makeup and brushed out my hair, getting ready for work. Once ready, I walked down the stairs of Sway, saying a quick 'bye' to those who were in the living room before leaving with Avani, Anthony and Noah. We walked along the street to the bar, entering to see Nick, Ryland and Dixie were already at a table. I shot Nick a small smile as I left the group, him returning with one back, before I walked up to the stage and sat on my stool. I picked up the guitar, holding it across my lap as I adjusted the microphone.

"Hey everyone, my name's Ronnie Richards and, uh, I'm going to sing some songs for you tonight." I introduced myself the way I usually do, "This first one is called 1952, it's, uh, inspired by a first kiss. So enjoy that... We were sitting in your car yeah, didn't go very far but, it's just me and you like 1952, we were doing all the things that we used to. We were up all night yeah, you had me in your arms and you were kissing on my neck and making me laugh, and I knew that everything was alright. Can't tell you how I feel, 'Cause some things don't feel real like you think they would, but I keep thinking about, how things might not work out like, you think they will. Don't wanna let you go, just thought I'd let you know, it's always, it's always, it's always, different than the movies."

*The rest of the song isn't really applicable to this situation lol*

I finished my set, putting the guitar back down and walked off of the stage and over to the group.
"Hey guys." I smiled as I sat down in between Dixie and Nick.
"Hey darl, amazing set tonight!" Avani smiled as she handed me a martini, "I ordered this for you."
"Aww, thank you. And thank you." I smiled, motioning to the drink as I took a sip.

"Hey, how you doing?"Nick whispered in my ear, starting our own conversation. "About, you know, your mom thing."
"Nick, I've been dealing with this for nearly 19 years, I think bringing it up once isn't going to hurt me that much." I retorted, giving him a small smile.
"I just... Didn't want you to be upset or anything." He smiled back, causing butterflies to start floating around my stomach.
"Well thanks." I replied.

We had a couple more drinks, before deciding to travel home. We all went back to Hype, dispersing around the living room as Ryland put on Devil All the Time. I laid down on a couch by myself, covering myself with a blanket that had been thrown over the back of the couch. Eventually, Nick and I were the only two people left in the room. Avani was the last one to leave before us and the minute that she had left, Nick popped up onto his elbow to look over at me. He shot me a sort-of side smile, nodding his head to instruct me to go over to him. I sat up, throwing my blanket over the couch before walking over to him, lying down next to him. He wrapped his arms around me, pressing his lips to mine softly as I wrapped my arm over his waist.
"I should probably go home." I whispered, pecking his lips again.
"I know, I would offer you to stay but..." He started and I nodded.
"Yeah, it would be too obvious." I agreed, pressing my forehead to his softly.
"See you later." I smirked, pecking his lips once more playfully before moving away from him and walking out of Hype, back to Sway.
