"I promise I didn't kiss her." He insisted, hand resting on top of mine.
"You told me that you guys wanted different things from the relationship, not that she cheated on you. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, his eyes dropping down to our intertwined hands.
"Because she cheated because of me. I became so controlling and jealous that she had no choice but to cheat. I didn't want to freak you out." He whispered and I nodded slightly.
"Nick, is this Trent thing really going to be a problem for you? Because if it is, I don't know if we can..." I started and he shook his head.
"No... I mean, it is, but I'll work on it. I can't loose you." He whispered, pecking my lips.
"But... I can't be with someone who acts the way you acted tonight." I whispered his brow furrowing, "It was too similar to how Tommy reacted when I met you."
"And you know how that ended up." He growled, my brow furrowing in confusion.
"Yeah, it ended up with me hiding bruises and cuts and nightmares that lead me into hospital." I replied, him shaking his head.
"No it ended up with you ending up with the person he got jealous about." Nick retorted, I pulled my hand away from his as I sat back against my headboard.
"Get out." I growled, hiding my sadness with anger.
"Ronnie don't do thi..." He started but I cut him off.
"Nick, get the fuck out." I growled again, staring straight ahead of me. "Just go away, I can't be around you right now."
"Okay I'll go. Good night." He whispered as I watched him leave my room, closing the door behind him. I let a few tears fall, while I took my sleeping pill, before lying down under my blankets.

When I woke up, it was 9am, I climbed out of bed and changed into some skinny jeans and a sweater, I had to be at the studio by 10, so I decided to have breakfast before leaving. I applied some makeup and did my hair, before starting to walk down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen, grabbing a cup of coffee, turning around to see Bryce, Noah and Nick sitting at the table.
"Morning Ronnie." Bryce smiled and I smiled back at them.
"Morning Bryce and Noah." I replied, noticing Nick's brow furrow as he stood up.
"Ronnie, can we talk?" He asked and I shook my head.
"I have nothing to talk to you about, and I have to get to the studio." I replied as I grabbed my wallet and keys off of the counter, turning and walking out to my car. I drove to the studio, entering to see that Trent was already working on my song.

"Hey, how was your party?" He asked and I shrugged in response.
"It was okay, until I ended up fighting with my boyfriend." I groaned and he nodded.
"What about? Is everything okay?" He asked as I slumped down on the couch.
"He's jealous that I'm working with you. And he kind of started to act like my ex, who was abusive and it freaked me out." I explained as he continued nodding.
"Fuck. I mean, I see where you're coming from." He smiled softly and I nodded.
"Thanks but let's get to work. Take my mind off of this shit." I replied, getting off the couch and walking into the recording booth.

--
We finished our session in the studio at 8 that night, and I headed back out to my car, driving to Sway. I walked inside, making eye contact with Nick, who was watching tv with Blake and Amelie.
"Hey Ronnie!" She smiled, me rolling my eyes in return before forcing a smile.
"Hey hun." I replied, walking up the stairs and into my room, locking the door behind me. I changed into some sweatpants and a black bralette before I heard a knock at the door.
"Ronnie, let me in." Nick's voice sounded and I shook my head.
"Why? So you use our relationship against me again?" I asked, making there be silence for a moment.
"I'm sorry. I was drunk, and I wasn't thinking. I know you'd never do anything. I'm just, I'm crazy about you." He said and I unlocked the door, opening it slightly.
"You can't just say you were drunk and expect everything to be fine. You really hurt me last night." I whispered and he nodded.
"I know, I'm so sorry. I never wanted to act the way he did, or for my actions to remind you of him." He whispered, his head leaning against the door frame.

"Ronnie, why are you and Nick talking through a door? Wait, the fuck did you do to my little sister Austin?" Josh's voice boomed through the hall.
"It's nothing Josh. Just a little fight." I replied, giving Nick a glare.
'Thank you' Nick mouthed, me rolling my eyes in return.
"I know you're not him." I whispered, "Now. You're not him now. But he wasn't like that either."
"I know, and I know it must be scary. But you're going to have to trust me. Ronnie." He whispered and I nodded.
"I do. I trust you." I whispered.
"Then come down, they were going to order a pizza." He whispered and I smiled.
"I don't want to be around her. And by the way, how are her and Blake still together? I mean surely he saw or heard about the kiss." I asked, his brow furrowing.
"Oh, uh, she does it a lot. I guess he's just used to it. And I understand, but I really want you to come down. We can watch something that Leo's in." He smirked and I laughed.
"Ugh fine." I smiled, opening the door wider so that I could exit. His arms wrapped around my waist, pulling my body against his as our lips collided.

We pulled away from the kiss, our fingers intertwining as he led me back down the stairs and into the living room. He sat down, one hand moving to my hip as he pulled me down to sit on his lap. His arms wrapped around my waist, holding my body against his as they started a movie.
"You guys are so cute." Amelie smiled, me rolling my eyes in response.
"Just ignore her." Nick whispered in my ear, pecking my neck and shoulder softly. I glanced over my shoulder, smiling down at him before pecking my lips back to his. He pulled out his phone, opening instagram so I glanced down to see a familiar face. Maddison?
"Wait is that Maddison? Why are you following her? Like how do you know her?" I asked, him looking between me and the phone.
"You're kidding, right? She's a singer." He replied, giving me a weird look.
"Wait she is? She went to my high school, we hated each other." I replied, noticing Nick's face relax.
"And you didn't know she was famous?" He replied and I nodded.
"Yeah, I guess I've been living in my own little world." I replied, as Ryland walked in, sitting next to us.
"Hey what are you guys talking about?" Ryland asked as he did so.
"Uh, Maddison Beer." Nick replied and Ryland nodded.
"Oh, how she broke your heart when you first moved out here." Ryland nodded knowingly.
"No. That's not what we were talking about, but thank you, for that." Nick grimaced and I smiled.
"Ohh, sorry. Can I get you guys a drink? So I can leave this conversation?" Ryland offered and I nodded.
"Yes please, just grab the vodka bottle." I smirked and he nodded.
"A whiteclaw for me please." Nick asked as well as Ryland walked away.
"So she broke your heart?" I asked and he nodded.
"Yeah, we got real close and then she dumped me." He pouted and I smirked.
"Aww baby." I pouted back, pecking his lips. "Don't worry, she's a bitch."
