"So... you guys actually..." Ryland started after sitting in silence for 10 minutes. "Yeah. We had sex. While you two slept on the couch." I explained and he nodded slightly. "So why is she still here then?" He asked and I shrugged. "I don't know. I guess it just didn't mean anything to him." I whispered, knowing my heart was starting to break. "Hey, don't get like that the only way to find out is to... HEY NICK COME HERE... ask him yourself." He smirked, calling out to Nick and waiting a few seconds for Nick to walk outside. When he did, Ryland motioned for him to sit down, and he did. "Okay, have fun." I watched him walk back inside before turning to Nick. "What was that about?" He chuckled furrowing his brow. "You're kidding, right?" I replied, moving forward in my seat, watching his face relax. "Oh. That. Right." He answered and my brow furrowed. "You regret it, don't you?" I asked and he shook his head. "No, of course not. Last night was... You are... I love you, Ronnie. But, I cheated. I never thought I would and I did." He started and I nodded. "Right, but I mean... It's us. And what about what you said yesterday?" I whispered. "Yeah I know what I said, I was drunk and wasn't thinking straight, now I am. Ronnie, the fact that I live in Florida hasn't changed. The fact that you want to stay near your brother hasn't changed. We're still us, with the same issues we've had." He replied. "You're right. Of course you're right. Nick. But I just want you to know that last night was very special to me. And, I'm not going to forget it." I whispered and he nodded, smiling softly. "Me two." He whispered, holding onto my hand, giving it a squeeze. He stood back up, walking back inside and back over to Madison. I stayed sitting outside, watching the ocean as I tried to clear my head.
"Hey Bryce and Josh paid the hotel manager to let us have beers at the pool. You coming?" Vani asked as she stuck her head out the door. "It's like 11 am." I replied and she smiled back at me as she nodded. "Yeah dude, we're on holidays." She laughed as I stood up. "Okay, I'm coming." I walked into my room, changing into a yellow bikini and throwing my hair into a ponytail before walking down to the pool. I walked over to Dixie, Addison and Ryland, noticing them instantly stop talking as they noticed me. "You told them, didn't you?" I asked Ryland and he gave me an innocent smile. "Maybe, but I couldn't keep it in, it was eating me alive." He replied and I nodded. "So... what did he say when you talked to him?" Addison asked and I shrugged. "He's going to stay with her, go back to Florida. I'll stay in LA." I responded and her brow furrowed. "But you guys are meant to be together! Everyone knows it." She responded, Dixie nodding next to her. "Look guys, sometimes the things that are meant to happen, just don't happen. It's that simple." I replied, shrugging my shoulders as Ryland gave me a small hug. "Well, for the record. We all wanted it to happen. Except Josh, but he can fuck off." Ryland replied and I smiled. "Me two, Ry. Me two." I whispered back, leaning my head back against his shoulder.
"Ronnie, come get a drink!" Bryce yelled out and I laughed as I stood up, walking down to him and Josh. I sat in between the two as Bryce handed me a beer. "Thanks Bry." I replied, opening the bottle. "So... How was your night?" Josh asked and I rolled my eyes. "How do you guys know?" I asked and Bryce chuckled. "Addison texted me as soon as she heard." He replied and I nodded. "Great so then everyone knows?" I asked again and they nodded. "I guess except for Madison..." Josh answered. "Good, he doesn't want her to know." I replied and Josh's brow furrowed. "Wait so he fucked you and is staying with her?" He asked and I nodded 'yes', "Oh, I'm gonna kill him." "No. Josh, it's okay. We talked about it and it's what's best for both of us." I answered, receiving a small hug from Bryce. "Well we love you, Ronster." Bryce smirked and I laughed. "Thanks Bry, I love you guys two." I replied, catching Nick's eye as he glanced over at us, he was sitting on one of the poolside seats (you know the ones that you lie down on) with Madison, cuddling like he hadn't slept with me less that 12 hours earlier. "Ugh, I'm just ready to go home." "Well, we're leaving tomorrow so just enjoy your last day and hopefully you won't have to see them together again." Josh smiled softly and I nodded. "And then your song comes out the day after, so that'll be a good distraction." Bryce said next and I nodded. "Except the song is about Nick." I groaned and he laughed. "Damn, is it a break up song?" He asked and I shook my head. "Nope, I wrote it the first time we came here. And started producing it just after Nick and I came out to all of you guys." I answered, noticing his smile drop. "Oh, so it's going to be a bad week." He replied and I shook my head again. "Not bad... but definitely a hard week."
