We were finishing up at the bar, saying goodbye to Trent while the three of us started walking back.
"Hey, why don't you stay at Hype tonight? I mean there's room." Ryland offered, making me stop walking as he looked back at me.
"Ry, don't do that." I replied, making his brow furrow.
"What? OH, no that's not what I meant. It's just, I don't know, it's lonely in that room without him. I promise if you stay it'll be purely platonic." He smirked and I nodded.
"Okay, it's lonely in my room two." I agreed and he shot me a soft smile. "But we have to stop by Sway so I can grab my stuff."
"Thanks." He smiled as we arrived at Sway. He waited outside while I ran up to my room, throwing some pyjamas and clothes for the next day in my bag, as well as makeup, toiletries and my sleeping pills. We walked down to Hype, through the front door and up the stairs to Ryland's room."You can shower first, if you want." He offered and I nodded, grabbing my pyjamas and toothbrush from my bag.
"Thanks." I replied, walking into the ensuite and taking my shower. When finished, I brushed my teeth and threw my hair into a bun, letting Ryland have the bathroom. I climbed into the bed on Nick's side, instantly being hit by the smell of coconuts. I guess it hangs around, I thought as I felt my eyes water over, a single tear sliding down my cheek, followed by another. The bathroom door opened and Ryland walked out, immediately rushing over to me.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked, engulfing me in a hug.
"I fucking miss him so much." I whispered, feeling him nod beside me.
"Me two. Me two." He agreed, voice hitching for a moment. I glanced up to see that he had tears falling down his cheek as well. I wrapped my arms around his waist as his hung over my shoulders.
"This fucking sucks." I whispered.
"Yeah, it sucks for him two though. He said he's struggling. But he loves it there two." He replied, making more tears fall from my cheek. "I'll get the light."He climbed out of bed to turn off the light as I took my pill before climbing under the covers, digging my head into his pillow. The smell of him on the pillow became comforting, helping me to drift off to sleep.
When I woke up, there was someone lying down on top of me, I glanced over my shoulder to see Charli smiling back at me.
"Hey." She smiled and I laughed slightly, rolling over so that she fell onto the bed.
"Hey, what's up?" I replied, glancing around the room to see Avani, Ryland, Chase and obviously Charli sitting on the bed.
"We just wanted to check in." Chase informed, giving me a small smile.
"Thanks guys. But I'm doing okay." I replied, receiving an odd look from Ryland. "Okay, not okay, but I'll get there."
"Well we love you." Charli smiled, giving me a hug.
"Thanks Char, I love you guys two." I replied, rubbing my eyes as I continued to wake up. "I am hungry though."
"Let's go get breakfast then. Get dressed hoe." Avani laughed pulling everyone else but Ryland out of the room. I climbed out of bed, grabbing my clothes out of my bag, and stumbling into the bathroom, I changed into a white tee shirt with a flannel over the top, and some skinny jeans. I brushed out my hair and applied my makeup before heading downstairs, where Avani, Anthony, Noah and Dixie were waiting.
"Wow, you guys taking shifts or something?" I asked, rolling my eyes as they laughed.
"Shut up, we just making sure you're okay." Dixie replied, wrapping her arm around my shoulder as we walked out to Avani's car. We drove to a cafe, finding a table for us all to sit at. I glanced around the room noticing a couple members of paparazzi were taking photos of us.
"Why are they always around when I'm going through shit." I groaned, making the others look towards them.
"They're always there, you just don't notice when you don't care about what they see." Avani responded, giving me a small smile.
"Well it's annoying either way." I replied, rolling my eyes as the waitress walked over to us, so we ordered our breakfast."Hey, Ronnie. You know you can vent to us, right? Like if there's anything you want to get off your chest, you can." Dixie informed, giving me a small smile.
"Thanks Dixie, I guess... I don't know, Nick was the first guy who has shown me, like unconditional love." I replied, making Avani's jaw drop.
"Wait did you just say love? Are you and Nick..." She started but I cut her off.
"No... I mean, I was. And he said he was... The day he left." I explained, looking down at my coffee.
"Wow. That's big. He didn't even tell Amelie that and they dated for like 5 months." Dixie smiled, making me cringe at her name.
"I mean, I guess... It's just. Why would you say that you loved someone you were about to leave?" I asked, feeling my eyes water over as I thought of him.
"I don't know sweetie, I don't know." Dixie replied, giving me a sorrowful look.
"Well you can ask him next weekend, he's coming back for a visit." Avani responded, receiving 'shut the fuck up' looks from Dixie, Anthony and Noah.
"He... He is?" I asked, feeling my eyes water over again.
"Um... no. I was lying." Avani replied, forcing a smile, which showed that she was obviously lying.
"Mmhmm." I hummed, unsure of what to say next.
"He flies in next week on Friday." Dixie informed.
"Thanks." I replied, receiving a 'I'm sorry' look from Anthony, "No, really. I appreciate knowing so that I don't accidentally run into him or whatever."
"Okay, if you say so." Noah shrugged, before Avani reached over to give me a hug."Duuuude, I'm bored now. Let's go." Avani ordered, making me laugh as the rest of us stood up, following her out to her car. She dropped Anthony, Noah and I off at Sway before going back to Hype with Dixie.
"You wanna hangout or something?" Anthony asked, giving me a worried look.
"Nah, but thanks. I think I'll watch Friends or something until dinner." I smiled back, giving him a small hug.
"Okay, yell out if you want anything." He replied as we split off to go to our separate rooms.
"I will. Thanks."
