"Oh you're just saving water?" I asked as I turned around, crossing my arms in front of my chest. His hands remained on my waist as he pulled my body back against his.
"Yeah, got a problem with that?" He asked in return, leaning down and pecking my lips. We pulled apart, his brow furrowing slightly as his eyes skimmed my face.
"No, I have no prob... What?" I asked, as my brow furrowed as well.
"When was the last time you slept?" He whispered, making me suddenly realise that my makeup would have rubbed off under my eyes.
"Oh, last night." I replied, my hands pressing to his chest as I noticed his jaw clench.
"Don't lie to me, Ronnie. Please." He groaned, pushing me away at the hips as I grabbed onto his shoulders, pulling him back in.
"I don't want you to worry." I whispered, pecking his lips as he shook his head.
"Don't just kiss me and think I'm going to drop this." He groaned, "Just tell me how long."
"No." I whispered in response, pushing him away now. He took a deep breath as he shook his head, I watched him step out of the shower and dry himself off. My eyes progressively watering until he exited the room, when my first tear fell. I pressed my back against the wall, sliding down until I was sitting on the floor, sobbing. When I had finished crying, I stood back up, turning off the shower and changing into the booty shorts and bra that I had brought in with me. I applied makeup under my eyes and threw my hair into a ponytail, before walking out of the bathroom. I glanced over to the kitchen bench to see Nick and Ryland on either side, the both noticed me at the same time. Both of the boys looked up at me, but only Ry smiled, Nick's face just remained grim. I rolled my eyes back at him before grabbing my keys, phone and wallet, walking out the apartment door.I left the motel, walking down the street until I came across a little cafe. I walked in, ordered and found a seat. I rested my head in my hands as I thought about the shower incident.
I mean is it even that bad if he knows that I haven't been sleeping? I thought as I stared down at my coffee. The bell of the cafe door rung, I glanced up at the noise to see Nick walking in. He noticed me, walking over and sitting at the seat across from me.
"Nick, I don't want to argue in public." I whispered, glancing up at his deep blue eyes.
"Hey, who said anything about arguing?" He asked in return and I shook my head.
"Okay, I don't want to talk about this." I whispered again.
"Why not? Why can't I know how long?" He asked again, leaning closer to me. "I mean, just like an hour ago, we were... you know. And now you're... what? Mad at me? Not talking to me? Not even looking at me?"
"It's been a while. When the nightmares started happening, I stopped sleeping." I informed, my eyes staying staring down at my cup, feeling my eyes water over, "I can't see his face. I can't do it."
"Why don't we finish this back at the room?" He asked, me nodding slightly as we stood up. We walked back to the motel, taking the elevator up to our room, walking past Ryland and into my bedroom."Come here." He whispered, pulling my body against his. "I know it's been hard, and you've been so brave." I felt tears start to fall down my cheeks.
"Thanks." There was a small knock at the door, before it opened slightly.
"Hey, uh... You guys okay?" Ryland asked as we pulled apart, me wiping my tears off of my cheek.
"Yeah, what's up?" I responded as I noticed one of Nick's hands stayed on my lower back.
"Josh just called and said they were going to get in an afternoon swim before dinner." He responded and I nodded.
"Yeah, that sounds good. You guys better leave so I can get changed." I replied and Ryland smirked.
"Come on Nick, if you stay in here it'll take us another hour to get down there." Ryland chuckled, pulling Nick out of the room. I changed into a white, thong, bikini, pulling my hair into a messy bun, before I walked into the living room.
"Ooh damn." Ryland smirked, making Nick's brow furrow as he hit Ryland's arm.
"Dude, don't." Nick groaned as Ryland chuckled slightly. Nick walked up to me, pecking my lips softly. "You do look really good."
"Thanks Nicky." I smiled back before turning away, making him follow me out to the elevator. Once inside, his hand rested on my ass, giving it a light squeeze, making me laugh slightly. The door opened again and Nick's hand immediately dropped as Anthony, Avani, Addison and Bryce entered. We all rode the elevator down, to find the others were waiting in the foyer."Hey little sis." Josh smiled, wrapping his arm over my shoulder as we all walked out of the hotel and across the road to the beach. Nessa set up the large umbrella that she brought, while the rest of us laid down our towels. I laid down on my stomach, finally giving my legs a break, and the other girls did so as well. The boys sat about a meter or two away from us.
"Wait are those nail marks in Nick's back? I thought you guys weren't together?" Avani asked, directing the last part to me.
"We're not. I don't know who made those." I lied, the rest of the girls going quiet.
"So... A different girl made those?" Dixie asked and I lifted my head, turning to look at Nick's back, shrugging slightly.
"I guess so." I replied, acting confused.
"Are you okay? About him being with someone else?" Addison asked and I nodded.
"I guess, it's kind of weird, but we were only together for like a minute. So I guess he can do whatever he wants." I smiled.
"Woah. So what if he brings home a girl here one night, while you guys are sharing a room?" Dixie asked and I chuckled slightly.
"I guess me and Rylo will have to go get some drinks or something." I replied and Avani nodded.
"I don't know, if me and Noah broke up, I would not be this okay with him seeing other girls." Dixie replied, shrugging slightly.
"Well Nick and I were never official, we were only a fling. No real feelings I guess." I replied as I rolled over, sitting up on my elbows as I glanced back over at the boys, who were now standing up."You guys coming in or what?" Bryce asked, running over to grab hold one of my wrists and one of my legs, and throwing me over his shoulder before he ran into the water.
"Bryce I swear to God if you dump me in that water I will fucking kill you." I groaned and he chuckled.
"Here Nick, take this, she doesn't want to be dumped in the water." He mocked, throwing me into Nick's arms, making him hold me bridal style. Nick laughed slightly as he slowly put me down into the water, it was about waist deep. I smiled back up at him before he moved away from me, making his way to a different part of the circle. I felt a nudge in my side, glancing up to see Addison smiling back at me.
"Yeah, no feelings my ass." She laughed, me rolling my eyes in return.
"You're wrong." I replied, glancing over to see him talking to Anthony.
"Okay honey, whatever you want to tell yourself."
