"Okay, how do we find a parent in the middle of an island?" Ryland asked as I picked up the boy.
"I don't know." I replied, turning my attention to the boy, "What's your name?"
"Jack." The boy mumbled and I smiled back at him.
"Well, Jack, we're going to find your mommy okay?" I asked and he nodded.
"Okay, what about, like, a police station?" Nick offered and I nodded, waiting for him to pull up his phone to get directions to the police station. We walked for about 20 minutes before we arrived outside of the police station, heading inside and waiting for the service desk to become available.

"Who's next?" The lady called out and we walked up, Ryland filling her in on the information about the kid. "Ahh, I see. Well we can take a picture and send a search team out for the parents but we really can't hold a child in here at the moment."
"We can take him with us. I mean, we're only here until Friday, but we can give him a bath and some food and somewhere to sleep until then." I informed and the woman nodded.
"Okay, leave your number with me and we'll call you if we find the mother or father." She informed and Nick wrote down his name and number on the piece of paper.
"Thank you," I smiled back as we walked back out of the police station.
"Where's my mommy?" Jack asked, looking up at me with big eyes.
"We're still looking, but you are coming with us for a bit." I replied and he nodded. We walked back to our apartments, running into Avani and Nessa in the foyer and filling them in on the whole situation, before walking back up to our room.

"Hey you give him a bath, I'm going to run down to the shops and grab some clothes and food for him." Nick told me and I nodded.
"Okay, sounds good. See you soon." I replied, giving him a small peck on the lips before watching him leave the apartment. I carried jack into the bathroom, sitting him on the floor as I started running a bath, making sure it was warm but not too hot. Once it was hot enough, I undressed Jack, placing him in the water, watching his face instantly light up. I grabbed the body wash, washing the dirt and grime off of his body and face. I washed his hair and watched him play around in the water before there was a knock at the bathroom door.
"Yeah!" I called out, watching Nick walk through the door.
"Here, I got him a couple of pairs of day clothes and some pyjamas, what'd you want?" He asked, kneeling down next to me.
"Day clothes, I think we're going to dinner tonight so we'll do pyjamas after." I answered, pulling Jack out of the water and drying him off. Nick helped me dress him, his hand lightly pressing into my lower back as we did so. I could see out of the corner of my eye that Nick was watching me as I spoke to Jack, but I tried to ignore it.
"You're going to make a great mom one day." He whispered, forcing a small smile onto my face.
"Thanks Nicky." I whispered back, leaning over to peck his lips. His hand shot to the back of my head, pulling me back into the kiss, as his other hand stayed on my lower back, pulling me closer to him. I pulled away from the kiss, helping Nick stand up before carrying Jack out to the living room. He walked into the kitchen, making some food for Jack, letting me rest on the couch while he fed Jack in the kitchen. "He can stay in my room tonight, I mean, I don't sleep anyway so I can keep an eye on him."
"Are you sure you don't want to try and sleep?" He asked, giving me a worried look.
"Nick, I have tried." I lied, "It doesn't work."
"Okay, but I'll come into your room to help you out." He informed and I nodded.
"Ugh if you insist." I smirked, pretending to be annoyed, which only made him smile more.
"CAN YOU TWO PLEASE STOP FLIRTING, OH MY GOD!" Ryland screamed as he walked out of his bedroom, making the two of us laugh.
"Sorry Ry." I smiled softly, stifling back my laugh as I watched Ryland walk over, sitting at my feet, letting me rest them on his lap. He turned on the tv, starting to play 'You' on Netflix. Nick finished feeding Jack, before walking over to us and sitting so that my head could rest on his lap, letting Jack lie down in front of me. I felt Nick's fingers run through my hair as we watched the show.

---
We returned from dinner, and I watched Nick check his phone to make sure that there were no calls from the police department, before he turned to me.
"I'll get changed, then I'll meet you in there." He smiled softly, pointing to my room.
"Sounds good, I'll see you soon." I smiled back, carrying Jack into my room and changing him into the pyjamas that Nick had bought him, before changing myself into some grey sweatpants and a white bralette. I tied my hair into a ponytail, keeping an eye on Jack, who I had left on my bed. After a minute or two, a topless Nick walked in, also wearing grey sweatpants. He kissed my temple as he gave me a small hug from behind, before we walked over to my bed. Nick put Jack in the middle, under the covers as I turned off the light, before climbing in on the other side of the bed.
"Try and sleep." Nick whispered, causing a smile to crawl onto my face. Fine, I'll try, I thought as I closed my eyes, resting for about five minutes before I saw him again. Tommy face appeared in my mind, causing them to shoot back open. "You okay?" Nick asked, sitting up next to me. I hadn't even noticed I was sitting up until he did so.
"Umm, no." I whispered, shaking my head slightly, "He's still there, he's there whenever I close my eyes."
"Come here." He replied in a whisper, waiting for me to climb over Jack and slide one leg on either side of his body. Straddling his waist as he wrapped his arms around me, kissing my lips. He laid down slowly, allowing me to roll off of him while still remaining in the hug.
"But you. Oh. You make me happy." I whispered, watching a smile grow on his face through the dark.
"Me two. You. I mean, you make me happy two." He replied, pressing his lips against mine again. His head leaned down against my shoulder as I felt him drift off to sleep.

It was about 5 hours later, before anyone had woken up, when Nick's phone started to ring from the kitchen. I climbed out of bed, walking out and checked the number, recognizing it as a number from Hawaii, so I decided to answer.
