"So do you want to go back to the group or the room?" Nick whispered as we finished our ice cream, stopping in between the hotel and the beach. I looked between the two of them before turning back to Nick.
"Will you be mad if I say the room?" I asked and he smiled back at me softly.
"Of course not, come on. Let's go watch a movie or something." He smiled, taking my hand in his, leading me into the elevator. Once the doors closed, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, resting his head on top of mine. I wonder what Tommy's going to do when I get home, he knows that I lied about not spending time with Nick, he knows that I've been with him alone, I was thinking. "Hey, you okay?" He asked, he must have noticed that I was spaced out because his brow was furrowed.
"Uh, yeah I was just thinking about..." I faded out as his arm fell off my shoulder.
"Tommy." He whispered and I nodded.
"Yeah, I mean I come home smelling like cigarettes and he does this, but now he knows that I've been spending time with you, which he told me not to do and..." I started but he cut me off.
"And you're scared of what he'll do." Nick offered and I nodded.
"Exactly." I whispered, moving closer to Nick, wrapping my arms around his waist, allowing my half-naked body to press against his as I gave him a hug. "Thanks for giving a shit about my shit."
"Of course." He whispered, wrapping his arms around me back. The elevator door opened and we walked out, and into the room.
"Take a shower and I'll meet you back in your room." Nick ordered with a cute smile and I nodded back.
"Yessir." I smirked walking into my room, taking a shower before getting dressed into some booty shorts and a sports bra before walking back into my bedroom, where Nick was watching Brooklyn 99. I climbed in the bed next to him, as he wrapped his arm around me, I rested my head on his chest, slowly fading off to sleep.

--
"What the fuck is going on in here?" I woke up to Tommy screaming around my room. I looked up at Nick, who was pushing me away from him as he climbed out of the bed. I grabbed his wrist, trying to stop him from walking up to Tommy, only for him to pull his hand away from me.
"Tommy it's not what it looks like I swear." I pleaded as I climbed out of the bed.
"YOU AND ME OUTSIDE NOW! COME ON PRETTY BOY!" Tommy screamed at Nick.
"You want to go? I know what you did to her. I know what you're doing!" Nick screamed back, starting to make his way over to him.
"You know what I did to her?! What about what you're doing to her!? You just want her for her body. And look at her, falling for your shit!" Tommy called back, I felt my heart sink as I looked at Nick.
"Is that true?" I asked and he looked back at me, not replying.
"Of course it's true. Why else would he be spending so much time with you? Or I'm sorry with my girlfriend." He growled, walking closer to Nick.
"Fine, you want to go, let's fucking go outside." Nick called back. I tried to walk up to Tommy to stop him from doing anything to Nick, but he pushed at my chest, knocking me to the ground as he and Nick left my room. I made my way to my feet, re-orientating myself as my door reopened.

"What did you do to him?" I asked Tommy as he re-entered walking up to me.
"Don't worry about him, you'll see him soon." He replied, reaching over and grabbing me by the throat. I grabbed onto his wrist as I tried to pull his hand away from my throat, only to make his grip tighten as he lifted me off my feet. My vision went blurry as I struggled to keep air going to my lungs. Then it all went dark.

--
I jumped slightly as I lifted my head, only to see Nick glancing down at me.
"You okay?" He asked as his hand made it's way to my arm, rubbing it softly.
"Uh, yeah." I whispered as I sat up, rubbing my eyes, not noticing that my hands were shaking.
"Nightmare?" He whispered back and I nodded slightly.
"Mmhmm." I hummed as his arm wrapped around me.
"Do you want to go for a walk or something?" He asked and I nodded, climbing out of bed and throwing on a hoodie that was on my floor before turning back to Nick, who was smiling at me softly. "Still got my hoodie." He smirked and I looked down.
"Oh, fuck. Did you want it back?" I asked and he shook his head, walking back over me.
"Nah it looks better on you anyway." He smirked as we left the room, walking out and into the elevator. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked as the doors closed.
"I'm sorry but I can't." I whispered and he nodded slightly.
"That's okay. Do you want to get something to eat?" He asked again and I nodded.
"Yeah, I'm starving." I agreed as the doors opened and we walked out into the night. "How long was I asleep?"
"Uh, a while." He informed and I nodded.

We found a little takeaway shop, grabbing a couple of burgers to eat as we walked along the beach. As I finished eating, I dropped my hands down to my side as Nick's fingers intertwined with mine.
"Dance with me, Ronnie." He whispered as he turned to me, placing his other hand on my waist as he pulled my body against his.
"There's no music playing." I replied and he smirked.
"Then sing me something." He smiled down at me and I nodded as one hand ran up to behind his neck and the other held his hand.
"Um okay... When you feel your love's been taken, when you know there's something missing. In the dark, we're barely hangin' on, then I rest my head upon your chest. And I feel like there ain't nothing left, I'm afraid that what we had is gone." I sang as our bodies swayed back and forth, "Then I think of the start, and it echoes a spark. And I remember the magic electricity, then I look in my heart, there's a light in the dark. Still a flicker of hope that you first gave to me, that I wanna keep. Please don't leave. Please don't leave."
"That's beautiful." He whispered and I smiled. "Did you write it?"
"It's a work in progress." I replied and he smiled.
"I like it." He answered and I smiled back at him, our faces so close that I could feel his breath against my lips. I glanced around the beach and noticed a middle aged man facing his camera towards us.

"You're fucking kidding." I groaned as I saw him, pushing myself away from him as he glanced towards the man.
"I swear they're just following us around at this point." He replied and I nodded, "Are you ready to head back?"
"Yeah, thanks for distracting me tonight." I whispered and he smiled back down at me.
"My pleasure." He smiled back at me, before we walked back to the room. We entered and he turned to me. "I'll see you in the morning." He whispered back at me, trying not to wake Ryland.
"Wait, can you stay the night?" I asked, "Just if I have another nightmare, I don't want to be alone."
"Okay, I'll stay." He smiled back at me, giving me a hug before following me back into my room. I climbed back under my sheets and he did so as well, he wrapped his arms around me, pulling my body against his. "Good night." he whispered and I smiled.
"Good night."
