30. I Believe You

I dressed for dinner that night in the skirt and heels that Addison, Bryce, Noah and Ryland had bought me, with a black body suit; and the bracelet, necklace and ring that Josh, Nessa, Avani, Anthony and Nick had given me, I left my hair out and applied a heavier layer of makeup than usual.
"Ronnie! You readyyy?" Ry called out and I chuckled slightly as I opened the door, walking out to see the two boys waiting in button ups and slacks.
"Well, well, well, look at you guys." I smiled as my eyes scanned up and down Nick's body, fuck he looks hot in that.
"Take a look at yourself." He smiled as his smile bit his lip, he walked closer to me, giving me a small hug, pecking my lips. We pulled away as Ryland walked over to us, giving me a hug as well.
"Oh, he gave you the ring!" Ryland smiled, surprised, making me give him a weird look, "He wasn't going to, thought it was going to make you upset."
"Well it didn't, I love it." I replied as I shot Nick a soft smile, making him blush as he smiled down at his shoes, "Com'on let's go."

I took Nick's hand in mine, pulling him out of the apartment and into the elevator. We arrived in the foyer, seeing Addison and Bryce waiting for everyone else.
"Damn, I knew you would look hot in those shoes." Bryce smirked as we walked closer, I smiled back at him before glancing back up at Nick, who was clearly jealous.
"Thanks Brycey." I laughed, giving him and Addi both hugs before taking a seat on one of the couches as we waited for everyone else to join us. Once they did, we caught an uber to the restaurant where I sat between Dixie and Nick. I let Nick rest his hand on my thigh under the table, because Josh was sitting on the other side of the table. 
"So what are the plans for tomorrow?" Avani asked to the group as we looked over the menus.
"What about a beach trip for our last day?" Nessa offered and everyone nodded in agreement.
"And finish it off with a night swim with drinks." Noah continued.
"Ugh, sounds like the perfect last day." I smiled back at the group, noticing the waiter walk over. We ordered our drinks continuing our conversation, Nick's hand would squeeze my thigh whenever he laughed, which would cause me to sit up slightly each time.

"Everyone ready to go?" Josh asked as we finished our dinner.
"Fuck yeah, let's fuckin goooo." I slurred as I attempted to stand up, laughing at myself as I fell slightly.
"You okay?" Nick asked and I nodded, as Dixie linked her arm around me, she was the most sober out of all of us.
"I got her, don't worry." She said as I wrapped my arm around her shoulder.
"Thanks Dixie Da-smell-io." I smiled and she laughed.
"You've spent too much time with Nick and Ryland." She replied, my vision was blurry but I did know that Josh, Nessa, Addison, Avani, Anthony and Bryce went in a different Uber to Noah, Dixie, Nick, Ryland and I. "Okay that was too close you guys." Dixie groaned as I sat down next to Nick. "I know that you two are together, it's obvious if you're looking for it. Lucky for you two, no one else is looking for it. But when she's drunk, she one slip up away from your whole secret coming out."
"It's not my fucking fault biiiitch." I slurred as I rested my head on Nick's shoulder.
"Yeah, you tell her." Nick chuckled, taking his hand in mine.
"Thanks Bear-Boy." I laughed, pecking his cheek.
"This is what it's like with them all the time, they're so cute, it's annoying." Ryland groaned, making Dixie and Noah laugh. The Uber pulled up out front of our hotel, Josh's group were only just getting out of the car when we did so.
"Okay, Nick out first. I'll handle Ronnie." Dixie ordered as her arm wrapped back around my waist.
"I'll help." Noah replied, getting on my other side.
"Thaaaannnnkkssssss guuuyyyyysssss." I smiled as they helped me out of the car, looking forward to see Nick walking in front of me, "He has such a cute butt. Noah don't you think he has a cute butt." I *whispered*, leaning my head on Noah's shoulder.
"Yeah Ronnie, he has a cute butt." Noah humored me, making Dixie laugh slightly. We all climbed into the elevator, me giving a wide smile to Nick, who was standing on the other side of the elevator. After the first few stops, it was just Nick, Ryland and I in the elevator. I stumbled over to Nick, wrapping my arms around his waist digging my head into his chest.

"You okay bub?" He asked, pecking my temple.
"I'm good." I smiled back, tilting my head back and pecking his lips.
"That's good." He whispered back, his hands held onto my hips, keeping my body against his, as his head rested on top of mine. The door opened and we walked out to our apartment, I grabbed Nick by the hand, pulling him into my bedroom.
"Hey, thank you for tonight. Today actually... It's been my best birthday since... oh I don't know, forever." I smiled, pecking his lips softly as he smiled down at me.
"You're welcome." He whispered, his hands sliding up, under my shirt. He kissed me again, my arms wrapping around his neck. "Ronnie, you're too drunk for this. Com'on lets get you changed and we'll just go to bed."
"Nick I want to do it tonight. I want to." I groaned and he shook his head.
"I don't care, Ronnie. It wouldn't be right for me to take advantage of you in this state. Please believe that I'm doing what's right for you." He pleaded, me nodding in response.
"I do. I believe you." I whispered, pecking his lips again. He sat me down on the bed as he took off my shoes, grabbing some sweatpants and a tee shirt out of my closet. He let me lean on his shoulder as I took off my skirt and bodysuit, replacing them with the clothes he had grabbed.
"Do you want some water?" He asked, pecking my cheek.
"Yes please." I whispered back.
"Okay, I'll go get changed and bring you back some water, climb in and get comfy." He ordered before leaving my room. I climbed under the sheets, turning on my tv and starting the movie Me Before You. After a couple of minutes, Nick re-entered, handing me a cup of water before walking around to the other side of the bed.
"What are we wa... Oh it's a chick flick." He groaned and I shook my head.
"Don't call something a chick flick when all you mean is a movie that makes you show your feelings." I replied as I placed the cup down, before wrapping my arm around Nick's waist, resting my head on his shoulder.
"Ugh fine, if I have to." He groaned, making me laugh.
"Yes, you have to."
