"So, let's introduce ourselves."
The way he sits made me twitch something inside that aggravated me to where a wicked thought surged into me, to curl my fingers into fists however, I could only plummet my freshly cut nails into the parched paper-thin skin of my palm as I shrank in cowardice.
Similar reactions were imposed on the inhabitants with the expectation of Jongho and Mingi, their sittings implementing the grace and fluidity of a ballet dancer.
They were the background dancers of the black swan, Park Seonghwa. He was the star of the show, all sensible ears swooned over the perfect blend of richness and sharpness in his enchanting voice. It was one of the many impeccable sparks of charm he possessed.
Yet no matter how many spoons of sugar he poured in his body, his actions, couldn't completely encompass the true flavor of the translucent drink that did no favorable justice towards the tongue. While others cluelessly imbibed liberal amounts of his charitable diabetes I was left thinking, whether this bland liquid was just water or a tasteless toxin.
Everyone else was soothed, or at least gave the impression to be because I know some people are the spawn of Shakespeare's characters and are my fellow brethren. Seonghwa and I's eyes meet for a split second, retained the same smile, and then ignored me.
"I'll begin with my story. I too was born in the least desirable place in society. I was born from teenaged parents, my father being fifteen and my mother fourteen, a mere middle schooler. My father was a runaway orphan with no family while my mother abandoned her family for him. He got arrested shortly after I was born and so I was raised by a single mother.
Growing up she struggled with jobs but was determined for me to get an education. Fortunately, from her hard work, she managed to give me enough schooling to where I graduated from Yonsei University. She passed away a few years ago though.
The reason why I became a psychiatrist and a consultant for the incarcerated was from my father's experience. Although mother and I visited less than ten times, it was easy enough to see how corrupted the system was in a glance. The deranged tone from his voice was...unpleasant to say the least. At last, the environment got so bad for him he committed suicide, while in prison. He wrote a farewell letter to his mother and me, briefly paraphrasing his trauma in jail. He only wrote a single paragraph and it made me and my mother in tears."
Direct and open. Told his entire autobiography in a practical yet methodical way, so gracefully executed that one would think it was orchestrated. The similarity to your introduction is identical for your Mars, aren't you delighted by your pedigree?
I initially thought it might have been too good to be true. The trembling lips and fists proved me wrong. His posture slightly crumbled, impressively retaining his dignity but showing slight cracks to reveal the mortified little child whose pure heart was tainted by the vermillion of his family's heirloom.
