Clem's POV...

It's too early to go to bed by most standards, but I'm tired.

Me: Hey guys, I'm going to go to bed.

Louis: But the games not over.

Louis has always used the excuse of new people to play a game. The new red haired boy is Edward. He's a lot like Gabe, except his name even sounds stuck up. (Sorry if your name is Edward. 😅)

Me: Sorry Louis, but I'm tired.

Violet: It's your fault, Louis. You keep letting her take your watch.

Louis: She asks. Who am I to deny her request.

Violet: Someone who should take responsibility and carry his weight.

Edward: If the lady wants to do it for him, let her.

Violet: You're not involved in this conversation.

Edward: Just saying.

Violet hates him already. She's hard on new people, but she hates this guy.

Violet: Hey, shut the fuck up.

Edward: Is that how you treat new people?

Louis: Actually, yes.

Violet: Whatever, I'm going to start my watch shift. Hey Javi! Get down, it's my turn!

I get up to go to my room.

Edward: How about I join you?

Clem: What?!

Ruby: You're not doin to good. Keep it up and you'll be chucked out of here before you know it.

Edward: Oh come on. Have some fun.

Clem: No thank you.

That's disgusting.

Edward: Fine then... Bitch.

He says this under his breath. He's lucky Y/N isn't here. He'd probably be dead already. I ignore him. Anymore from him, and he's gone.

I walk to my room. You can barely tell I'm missing a leg now. I wish Y/N could see it.

I enter my room and shut the door behind me. It's the room Y/N was locked in when he was here. My old room was a wreck, so I took this one.

I walk over to the bed and lay down. I'm so tired, I go to sleep really fast.

Your POV...

Brooklyn: Why do you need that thing? I couldn't recognize you with the whole beard thing going on.

You have a half ski mask covering from your nose down.

You: Just because you didn't, doesn't mean they won't.

Brooklyn: I still don't understand why you won't come back.

She's been trying to convince you the whole way.

You: We're going in here to make it sound like I'm going to help you look. We'll leave, stay at the rest stop for a week or so, and then you'll come back and tell them I'm dead.

Brooklyn: I don't want to do that.

You: You don't have a choice.

A walker stumbles onto the path in front of you. Brooklyn flinches, but you fluidly grab your knife and flick it at the Walker. Dropping it immediately. You don't stop walking, don't jump, and it seems seamless.
