You waited for everyone to leave before taking Brooklyn over to the graves. You tried getting her to talk a few more times, but she just didn't want to. She'll talk when she's ready, but you're not going to leave her by herself for long periods of time.

You stand back, watching Brooklyn by the graves. She's on her knees, probably saying a few things. But, it's none of your business, so you hung back.

Clem: Hey.

You look over your shoulder. Clementine is walking over. Marina is holding her hand.

You: Hey you two.

Marina: Where were you Daddy?

You: I was with Brooklyn.

She grabs your index, middle, and ring fingers, and holds them.

Clem: Is she ok?

You: She will be eventually.

Clem: Did she not want to come when everyone else was out here?

You: She didn't want to come at all. She feels guilty.

Clem: What are you going to do?

You: Be there for her. That's all I can do.

Marina: Can I go hug her now?

You: No, not yet. She needs some time alone right now. When she starts coming back, you can run over and give her a REALLY big one. I'm sure she'll love it.

Marina: Ok.

Clem: I wish you could've been there earlier.

You: I know.

Clem: She needed you though. More than I did.

You: I'll probably be with her for a few days. I want to make sure she's recovering. I don't think she'll want to be around anyone else.

Brooklyn starts to stand up.

You: Go get her Marina, but be careful not to scare her.

She lets go and runs away.

Clem: You think she'll be ok with Marina hugging her?

You: Of course. How could you not be ok with Marina hugging you?

Clem: Yeah, that's true.

Brooklyn turns around before Marina reaches her. She looks down and smiles right as Marina hugs her.

You: Told you.

Clem: Oh, shut it.

You: Actually, since we're alone for a few seconds, I wanted to ask you something.

Clem: Yeah?

You: Would you be alright if I left for like two, three days tops?

Clem: What? Why would you do that?

You: I think I have a way of making Brooklyn feel a bit better.

Clem: That is?

You: Anarchy.

Clem: What about it?

You: They didn't bring everyone. That means there are a bunch of assholes there. Someone has to deal with them. One day, they'll come looking for me again.

Clem: Just you two? You don't want to take anyone else?

You: No. We can handle them. Plus, I don't think she'd want anyone else to come if she does.

Clem: Seems kind of dangerous.

You: I've taken out plenty of communities by myself. Brooklyn will just make it a whole lot easier.

Clem: I don't know.

You: Look at it this way. If I can get Brooklyn to feel a bit better, then we can have some alone time we've been craving for more than a week.

Clem: That does sound nice.

You: We'll be careful, and back as quick as we can.

Clem: Alright. As long as we get alone time.

You: I'm sure if Brooklyn feels better, she'll watch Marina one night.

Clem: That sounds fantastic.

You put your arm over her shoulders and pull her over into a side hug.

You: Now be quiet before they hear you.

You whisper as Marina and Brooklyn walk over.

Marina: Mommy, Daddy, she liked it.

You: That's because you're awesome and everyone loves you Marina.

Marina: Uh huh.

Brooklyn: Well, um... I'm gonna go home.

You: No you're not.

Brooklyn: Yes I am.

You: I need you for something.

Brooklyn: What?

You: We're going on a trip.

Brooklyn: I don't have the energy for a trip.

You: You will when you find out where we're going.
