Woman: Leave us alone!
Man: Give me the boy.
Woman: No!
Man: It's funny that you think you have a choice... I don't want to kill you.
Woman: You'll have to!
Man: No... I won't.
Another man hits the woman over the back of the head with the butt of his rifle.
Man: You didn't kill her did you?
Man 2: Shouldn't have.
Man: Good.
He walks over to a cowering boy. He obeyed orders from his mother and hid, but he didn't hid well.
Man: Get up boy.
The little boy is crying. Terrified of what they'll do to him.
Man: I said get up!
He reaches down and pulls the little one up. The boy resists, but ultimately can't do to much. The large man is too strong for him.
Little boy: Let me go!
He tries punching the man, but they're nothing more than little love taps to him. The two men laugh at the little boy and his feeble attempt to break free.
Man: I need you to do something for me. You can go after you finish it.
He has no intention of letting the young boy go. He's just trying to trick the young boy into coming with him.
Little boy: Then I c-can come back to mommy?
Man: Yeah. She'll be right behind us I'm sure. We'll even give you some food and other supplies for your troubles.
The boy and his mother have been struggling for a while. After his father died everything went downhill. They've been struggling for food and water, barely getting enough to survive. The offer of food is the equivalent of gold to this boy.
Little boy: Ok.
Man: Good. Now come on. We have a long trip ahead of us.
