Snow's P.O.V.

I stared in wonder at the ice formation before me, it was huge dome of ice that faded into a deep rich blue the further you got inside.
You would step into a hole carved out of the ice and walk along it until you came upon the inside, at the top had a bunch of little leopard figurines made completely from ice hanging from the ceiling. I looked down and let out a gasp, there was a large lake that had steam rising up from it but no ice was melting, Dusk ran into the cavern and skidded to a stop beside me.
"Wow," she whispered and I noticed that there were also wolves, bears, tigers, and even owl figurines.

"How did this happen?" I asked as we stepped out of the tunnel.
"You probably made it in your mind not knowing it would appear," Mountian explained with a slight shrug, which made me to shake my head.
We all heard the sound of rumbling in the distance. Soon we saw Strider.
I turned to hiss at Dusk, "Why is he always coming up to our house!"
"I don't know, look Nikolais with him!" Dusk snapped back causing me to bristle before turning and glaring at them with crossed arms.
Nikolai stepped up and Strider came up on the other side.

"We came by because we saw a snow leopard and a wolf around our house, have you seem them?" Strider questioned crossing his arms.
"Nope not a hair," Dusk said with a slightly nervous chuckle, I elbowed her in the side and she let out a yelp and leaped into the air.
"No. If we did would we be outside?" I snapped glaring at Strider.
"Now why are you really here?" I asked as Dusk and Mountian stepped on either side of me. Mountian placed a calming hand on my shoulder which I precisely shook off before Nikolai intervened.

"Sorry to bother you," he said before turning to leave.
"Wait would you like to stay for dinner?" Dusk asked stepping forward causing me to growl and glare at her.
"Sure," Strider said with a grin while Nikolai just shrugged and followed Strider and Dusk into the house, while I silently fumed for a bit before following them reluctantly.
I finally stalked after them.
"Snow come and help me in the kitchen," Mountian said as he walked into the kitchen leaving me to follow him.
"Yeah?" I mumbled the question as I began to chop up the meat for dinner.

"Those boy aren't bad," he explained as he readied the seasonings.
I sighed at his words.
"I know it's just I don't trust people, I mean how do you expect me to?" I exclaimed as I chopped the meat a bit harder than necessary.
"I know but I don't sense anything bad coming from them," he spoke shooting me a meaningful look making me roll my eyes.
I dunked the chopped meat in the seasoning before putting it into a pot filled with water. After placing it on the fire, I leaned a hip on the counter as I waited for it to finish cooking.

"Sometimes building up walls can save you from pain, but they will also cage you," Mountian spoke softly before turning and leaving he kitchen.
I was flabbergasted. Scowling at his back I pulled out the meat since it was done and quickly loaded up the plates and took them out to the dining table where they were sitting. The only chair open was beside Nikolai and I had a feeling that a wolf and an owl had to do with it; shooting them a sharp glare I fixed the plates and passed them out. Nikolai's knee touched mine causing me to jump and bang my own knee under the table. Everyone shot my confused glances which I just shrugged off and continued eating.
Once we were done I cleaned up the dishes and went straight to bed to where I slipped off into dreamland.

*Dreamland*
I raced beside a familiar cub until she suddenly stopped and looked at me with a serious expression.
"Why did you leave me, you promised you would never leave me, that you would protect me, and always find me! You lied! You've never cared for me at all! I hate you!" Ghost screamed at me before turning and taking off into the blizzard.
"Ghost!" I screeched as I ran after her; desperately looking for her I came upon a cliff and looked down. My scream echoed through the valley as I spotted her broken and battered body at the bottom.

*End*

"Snow!" Dusk shouted as she shook me awake causing me to jerk up, gasping for breath.
"What's wrong? Nightmare?" Dusk asked worry etched into her face as tears continued to stream down my face as I stared at the wall in front of me.
"I had a dream, I was running beside Ghost, she stopped and asked why I didn't find her, she told me she hated me," I said a sob silently racking my frame as I bent my head to look down at my clasped hands.
Dusk sighed and sat down beside me.
"We'll find them, I'm sure she doesn't hate you," Dusk said softly causing me to jerk my head up. "Look at us! How long have we been here, two weeks," I demanded.
"And we haven't even gone out to look for them once."

Dusk's shoulders sagged before straightening with a determination that I knew meant something was going to change.
"Then we are going to find them, and take down the people who changed us too," she spoke softly but firmly.
"Where do we even begin?" I asked softly, my hope slowly reviving about finding Ghost, I knew Dusk wanted to find Widow.
"We'll go back to where we escaped and get answers from there," Dusk said with a determined nod of her head.
