Chapter 38
Missing You

The clouds are hiding the light of the moon, darkness spread throughout the land. Parang nakikisama maski ang kapaligiran sa galit na nararamdaman ko ngayon. I am having a hard time controlling my frustration, anger and the eagerness to see her.

Lulan kami ng sasakyan at huminto sa may tarangkahan nila. We are standing on the boundary, or should I say the entrance to their territory. My men are hiding in the darkness, silently waiting for my signal.

“Now,” I commanded and shadows flee entering inside their territory.

On the way, Ysabelle gave me the information she gathered. The vampires are prepared to any sudden attack that’s why a surprise attack is useless. About less than hundred of campires are guarding the different entrance of their territory. Two men are guarding the main entrance where the practice occur, some are lurking in the shadows like some ninja’s as their support while there are about ten on the back.

The king is really a powerful foe, smirking at that thought. I always wanted to test how strong the king of the vampires, I am vampires myself but I am ruling a different territory and protecting different group of vampires. I shoud’ve bring her there.

“My lord,” isang malalim, baritonong boses ang nagsalita mula sa aking likuran. I don’t need to look at him though.

“Ivan,” acknowledging his presence as he walk beside me.

In just a second, I am standing right infront where the ritual is for the revival of their so-called lady of their prince. Five men are lying on the ground with blood on their body. I smirk as I walk past through them.

As I enter, I didn’t expect to see the king lying in the middle of the circle while Wizus is sitting with his dangerous aura on the highest seat that is supposed to be for the king. Medina arrived on time, she gasp as she see the scene infront of us.

The blood on the chest of the king is still fresh, it only means that he killed him. Hindi ako nagpatinag ng tignan niya ako at tumayo na para bang gustong pumatay sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang mga tingin. I also want to kill him, that is what running inside my head as I smirk at him.

“Welcome to my castle,” he arrogantly greet, open arms, sarcastically.

“Kill them,” mahinang utos ko ng maramdaman ko ang pagdating nina Lara na hindi rin makapaniwala sa kanilang nasasaksihan.
