Chapter 3

I was working in my lab when Calum walked in.
"Whoa! This place is amazing!" He exclaimed
"I can't do much without my powers, how much longer?" I asked
"One more week" he rolled his eyes
"Damn" I muttered
"So!," Daniella exclaimed, hopping up on my counter "tell me about one of your dangerous quests"
I told her everything about the Widow Circle quest as I work on a fire charm.
It sparked and died and I screamed in frustration, throwing it at the wall.
It hit a book shelf and I gasped, reaching out to freeze it, but couldn't and it all collapsed.
I slowly turned to Calum and raised an eyebrow "when do I get my fucking powers back!" I exploded
"Easy. Calm down, Nikki" Sydney said
"Where the hell have you been?!" I yelled
"I took Marcus to visit Adrian's mom. Why? What happened in here? Who are they?" She asked
"My future children and daughter in law" I gave her a look.
"Damn. You never get a break" she whistled
"I know," I sighed "and to add to it, they thought I was a good idea to take my powers"
"What were you thinking?!" She yelled at them.
They all ran into my living room and we followed.
"It's fine! You can protect her! Your just as powerful!" Daniella said and we both raised our eyebrows at that.
"Have they ever seen you in battle?" She asked
"I die in a week" I said
"What?!" She exclaimed
"For gods sake! Next time tell Adrian to take him!" I yelled and gasped in pain as a contraction hit me like a load if bricks.
I fell and they all ran to my side.
Sydney helped me onto the couch and something broke inside.
"Something's wrong" I whispered and suddenly my water broke.
"Oh no" she said and tossed Drew her phone. "Call Aidan! She's going into labour!" She snapped
