This is not an update for this book. This is a serious talk about mental health and suicide prevention. I strongly recommend that you read this if you need it. If you don't, it is your choice whether or not you do read. If you choose not to read this, take this as a warning to be careful of what you open on tiktok or anything else. 

Check the tags check the comments and stay safe dear.

As some of you might know a person committed suicide on a popular app. I will not say their name over fear of children going to look it up. And that is also why I am not stating the app. Some people may think I am doing this for clout but I am honestly not. 

I have spent years of my life listening to people make jokes about killing themselves. Hell, I've made a few too. But I'm here to tell you that if you EVER feel like that, talk to someone. Suicide is not a laughing matter and if you're one of the sick fucks who made fun of that person and posted about it online for CHILDREN to see, you are what is wrong with the world. 

The reason I am doing this is because I feel as though it is our jobs as people to stick by each other. If you have no one to talk to please call or text this number

My messages are always open if you forget this number or need a friend to talk to. 

Suicide is a awful solution to something simple. Life is the HARDEST thing to get through. But there are always good times ahead of bad ones. Someone out there appreciates you more than you know. Hell, if you're reading this of course I appreciate you! Reading books is the most kind thing you could do for an author. I even have some of your usernames memorized cause I see them so much.

You are loved. You are needed. 

And if you think you have big balls to go watch that video.

Don't. And I'm serious. 

I am terrified to watch it because of some of the things I have seen about it. Watching a human take their own life on camera is not something you should witness or think about watching just because you are curious. Or think it will make you more of a person. 

Don't spread this.

Don't share anything about it.

Share the number. Share the message. 

Suicide isn't the answer. 

And we have to stop treating it like it is a joke. 

The video is circulating around tiktok right now. People put animals in front of the video and at the end show the suicide. 

That. Is. Messed. Up. 

Do not go on tiktok until this passes or be careful of what you watch. Read the tags and check the comments. Report EVERYTHING you see that is related to this. 

This. Is. Not. Funny. 

And if I know people I know that some of you might try to watch it. I am begging you not to. People have had no sleep. People have started fearing. People have been scarred and scared out of their minds. 

This. Is. Not. For. Your. Entertainment. 

Maybe some of you think that just by me making this thing I have spread it. I agree with you. I did. Maybe this was impulsive on my part but I have to say something. If I can get someone, even just one person, aware so they don't get hurt...

I'll take the chance.

That video is the most awful thing I have ever heard about. 

PLEASE contact someone if you ever feel like this is your way out. Contact someone who you think can help. 

As for tiktok I am ashamed. 

I have said this multiple times but there are KIDS on that app. CHILDREN. 

Stop spreading the hashtag. Stop spreading the footage. 

And tiktok I have something to say to you. If you don't start removing those videos from your site then that really shows your character. And you've lost my respect. The fact that those got on your site in the FIRST PLACE just shows how much you actually monitor HURTFUL content. But you shadowban LGBTQ+ people and African Americans and Artists and so many more to keep them silent? You're pathetic. Truly. I never thought it could get worse but it diffidently has. 

I don't care if you are homophobic, racist, sexist, or whatever else you want to believe. (If you are any of these you can leave this book cause I don't want you here) Can we all just agree on one thing? Human life is no joke. 

Suicide is no joke. 

Now shut the hell up about your views and focus on something that matters. 

Getting rid of this video should be a top priority but instead it is spreading. Please report anything you see and contact a friend if you think they are in need. 

Tell someone you love and appreciate them today. It could make a huge difference in their lives. 

I've lost people to suicide. I've almost lost people to suicide too. 

What is happening in this world right now might make some people feel alone and depressed. Tell them it's okay.

Be someone's reason they have a good day. 

And remember that you are never alone. I appreciate every single one of you and it might not mean a lot to you but that means a lot to me. 

Life is hard. I'm not going to pretend it's not. I've written about suicide, and I've experienced that feeling of nothing is going to get better. 

You are not alone. 

And in the words of my favorite musical Dear Evan Hansen, 

"Even when the dark comes crashing through. When you need a friend to carry you. When you're broken on the ground. You will be found" 

You are so special and unique and important. 

So please keep living. Please bare with the pain of life. Scars can heal but you only get one life. 

Make the most out of it. And most importantly never forget, to smile!
