CHAPTER 4

Nakatulala lang si Lavion sa School’s cafeteria habang sinisipsip ang kaniyang lollipop. Tapos na siyang managhalian ngunit may susunod pa siyang klase kaya hindi nalang muna siya bumalik sa hotel.

Maya maya ay gumalaw ang kaniyang mga mata sa bandang kanan kung saan ang entrance at exit nang cafeteria. Nagtagpo ang mga mata nila ni Yosh bago ang girlfriend nito na nakasunod sakaniya.

Nanatili niyang sinipsip ang kaniyang lollipop at inarapan sila na para bang wala siyang sinabi kaninang umaga lang. It is because she is playing. She is playing with their minds. She only wants Yosh but when he is with someone, he doesn’t want him. That is how her feelings work.

Nahanap ng kaniyang mga mata ang pamilyar na mukha sa bandang gilid. Nagbabasa ito ng libro at mukhang focus na focus ito sa pag-aaral. Napangisi siya dahil sa nagustuhan niya ito. Tumayo siya at umalis sakaniyang kinauupuan. Tumungo siya sa pwesto nito at umupo kasalungat nito.

Napatingin naman ito sakaniya at pinakitaan niya ito ng ngiti.

“You’re Krensom, right? KBum’s friend?”

Napangiti naman si Lavion. He is pretty clean and organized.

“I am just reviewing. Do you need anything?” magalang nitong pagtatanong, ang boses nito ay malalim.

“I didn’t realize before that your voice is deep. That is a good quality,” she grinned while pointing her red lollipop to Krensom.

She brought back the lollipop’s head on her mouth, “Do you have a girlfriend?” direkta niyang pagtatanong na ikinagulat ni Krensom.

Napangisi naman si Lavion nang makita ang ekpresyon nito, “Date me.”

Namilog na naman ang mga mata ni Krensom at nahulog ang kaniyang baba.

“I- I don’t think that is a good idea, Miss.”

“Why?” she looked at him innocent.

“KBum will kill me once he finds out.”

Natawa siya, “so you are not declining. You are just afraid of KBum.”

“T-That’s not what I meant-

“KBum only needs not to find out right?”

Hindi na ito nakapagsalita dahil barado na ito at hindi niya ito maayawan baka mainsulto. Pero isa lang ang kaniyang masasabi dahil mukhang hindi naman ito seryoso sa sinasabi nito.

“Why do you want to date me?”

Isinandig ni Lavion ang kaniyang likod sa kaniyang upuan at inalis ang sinisipsip niyang lollipop mula sa kaniyang bibig.

“You’re a practical type of guy. I guess your future girlfriend would adore that,” komento nito. “I want to date you to have fun. You see, I’m alone and I want someone."

She shrugged, "I cannot accept an offer of friendship if you’re wondering about me being friends you. We will date and once I’m done, then no strings attached. Let’s only have fun,” nginitian niya si Krensom at napatitig naman ito sakaniya.

He didn’t expect that KBum’s sister would be this informal but it is not shocking. KBum is also weird and all.

Lavion stood up, “So let’s meet at 7:00 PM in the Fi hotel’s lobby, baby boy,” she winked before moving her heels onward and walked out of the cafeteria to go to her class.

Napailing nalang si Krensom habang nakasunod ang kaniyang mga mata sa papalayong bulto nang kapatid ng kaniyang kaibigan at nakaramdam na may nakatingin sakaniya kaya lumingon siya sa likod at nakitang may isang lalaking nakatingin nga sakaniya. May kasama itong babae na napatingin rin sa gawi niya at napakunot ang noo nong makilala ito.

Nag-wave pa ito sakaniya pero hindi niya pinansin at sinimulan nang magbasa ulit.

At exactly 7:00 PM, Lavion arrived at the ground floor and walked to the hotel’s lobby and saw Krensom who’s sitting on the waiting area. He stands up after seeing her as he walked towards her. He was wearing an up-to-neck white sweater underneath his black normal jacket, dark blue jeans and black leather shoes. He was so prepared that she didn’t notice that he has more looks to expose other than his height. She didn’t expect that he could be this alluring to make a business with.

“You look good tonight, baby boy” she beamed as he stopped 50 centimeters away from her.

“Thanks if it passed your liking,” he smiled. “I’m sorry if I am really not good with this because this is my first time.”

Napangiti naman si Lavion dahil nakikita niyang nagsasabi ito ng totoo dahil sa pagtingin nito sa ibang direksyon na para bang nahihiya pa nitong aminin.

“So we should talk about how to steal a girl’s heart more often,” she chuckled and started walking as Krensom walked with her.

“Why don’t you have a girlfriend? With that look and quality, you should be a playboy or a model” she started talking, casually.

“I do model but I prioritize my studies first and other stuffs than modelling,” he started speaking casual too. “And I am really not thinking about having a girlfriend.”

“You are afraid that girls are distraction to your goals?”

“Yes, kind of. And they are vulnerable.”

“Oh, so you’re a gentle type.”

They stopped in the crossroad to wait for the red light.

“Why are you suddenly doing this?” biglang pagtatanong ni Krensom, “I mean, are you bored?”

“Yeah. I’m bored,” she answered direct, thinking about Yosh and that woman.

“Don’t you have a boyfriend too?”

The red light is on and then they walk through the pedestrian lane.

“I had a boyfriend, of course.”

“Are you somewhat broken or something?”

“Ah, you’re thinking that you might be a rebound? Well, it is not like I go crazy in dating. I only make fun, no strings attached. I broke up with them for good and then everything is at rest.”

Hindi na nakapagsalita si Krensom dahil sa mukhang nalalaman na niya kung ano ang pagkatao ng kaniyang ka-date ngayon.

Nakita niya ang isang street food stall at naisip na imbitahin ito.

“Do you want to try that one?” itinuro niya ang street food stall.

Nang makita naman ito ni Lavion ay agad siyang umiling.

“I’m allergic to unhealthy foods.”

Napatango naman si Krensom, “What do you usually do when you’re with your former boyfriends?”

She hummed, “They’re all boring actually. I don’t find fun stuffs with them.”

“What do you like? I mean, what are the things you like?”

“I like Hermes, Luis Vuitton, Gucci, Versace, Prada, Dr. Martin, Dior, Watsons and etc. Oh, I also like the color red. If it’s about food, I like Alina Morse’s zollipop.”

Napatango si Krensom dahil sa alam na niya kung bakit hindi nabigay ng mga nakaraan nitong kasintahan ang kaniyang gusto.

“Let’s go to the Gucci store then? I’ll pay.” he invited since they are in the mall already.

“Woookaay,” she made a thumbs-up with a grin on her lips, “no taking back.”

Napangisi rin ito, “I’m all yours.”
