About sa text niya last time, ang party.

Ngayon pa talaga siya nagtanong, of all parties he attended with me and mom as his accessories just so he could tell his business partners that he have a perfect family, gah I can't take this man anymore.

I mumble a small response to him, labag pa sa loob. 

My cousins we're eyeing me with concern as we step out of my father's car.

Hindi ako dumeretcho sa mga pinsan ko, wala ako sa mood makipag-socialize, instead, my feet dragged me to the nearest waiter and asked him to get me some red wine. Naiinis nanaman ako dahil wala akong magawa para maka-alis dito, hahanapin kasi ako ng ama ko.

Who wants to get on his nerves anyways? Not me.

Nagpalinga-linga ako habang hawak ang wine na ibinigay sa akin, palakad-lakad din upang makahanap ng tahimik na mapag-u-upuan, some are even turning their heads 180 degrees just to see me — who wouldn't? I was wearing red backless dress, at agaw pansin ang red. I can say, mapapalingon ka talaga, it kinda boost my confidence.

Nakakita naman ako ng walang nag-o-occupy na table sa medyo dulo, great. Wala naman sigurong nakaupo roon. Mukang okay na ro'n.

I headed there, matutuwa na sana ako nang may biglang huminto sa harapan ko. I halted instantly to prevent myself from colliding with her....again.

Gusto ko sanang magreklamo pa ngunit naunahan na ako ng paglaglag ng panga ko nang makita ko ang kabuoan niya, wow she's gorgeous, with those silver accessories, kumikinang siya kahit pa itim na suit ang suot niya, black slacks and black killer heels, nakapamulsa ang isang kamay at hawak naman ng isa ang wine glass niyang walang laman. She stole my full attention yet again.

"Raika's Ex. It's nice to see you again Miss Tarra."

She's oozing with dark aura courtesy of her dark outfit today. My radar said she's dangerous — gusto kong matawa anong radar pinagsasasabi ko? I don't have that nga pala so I smiled and greet her.

"But please don't address me again as Raika's ex," dagdag ko sa pagbati which made her grin, that kind of grin she gave me sa library. She look so different from the first time I saw her, muka siyang mabuting mag-a-aral noong unang beses siyang makita, mabuting mag-a-aral my ass! she gives off Javen vibes, especially when I saw her now, 'yung mukang anghel outside pero inside...madaming kayang gawin.

"Yeah sure, can I join you then? I finally detected someone in my gaydar," mabilis na sabi niya na nakuha ko naman pero umakto akong bingi-bingihan.

"What?" kunware ay gulat na sambit ko, hindi ako makapaniwalang sinabi niya 'yun ng diretcho sa harapan ko. Iba rin pala ang tabas ng dila nito, her mind-to-mouth filter failed to function siguro.

"I said I finally detected someone on my gaydar — wait do you have problems with hearing ba? Last time we talked nabingi ka rin."

Well...what the hell.

Inulit niya pa nga talaga. Napatingin ako sa paligid dahil baka may ibang makarinig, ang bothersome naman pala niya kasama. Gusto ko pa naman siyang maging kaibigan.

"Will you lower your voice." My tone was polite.

"Oh you're not out?"

"Hey have you read any article about Raika and I sa Mars? No? It's because our relationship was kept lowkey, I was shocked when you dead-ass brought up na Ex niya ako." I bit lip and roam my eyes around. "I really thought we wouldn't cross paths again."
