"Hindi mo kasama si Wreil?" Napa-ayos ako ng tayo, nakakagulat na may biglang susulpot sa tabi mo.

"No she's probably at home now."

Raika nodded.

Gabbi's party isn't that wild and all, ginaganap ito ngayon sa bahay nila Javen because her parents offered, we actually celebrate our birthdays here, naranasan ko na rin magpaparty dito. Javen's parents are always out of town and they just love the six of us, so they let us, wala lang talagang papasok sa master's bedroom.

Napapangisi ako sa mga dumadaang kakilala ko or sabihin ko nang hindi ko kilala, but no matter how tipsy they're when they saw me they will greet me still. How sweet of them.

"Have you told anyone from the group?" I looked at her. Raika is kinda chill while sipping her drink, muka namang hindi pa lasing, she's a light drinker, dati nga madalas kaming magtalo kapag nagpipilit siyang uminom kahit pa hindi niya na kaya. Nababadtrip ako, makulit, eh.

"Ano 'yon?"

"The thing about you and my friend."

"Oh."

So Steele told her—I can never tell Casidy she will freak the hell out—bigla ko tuloy nalibot ang paningin ko, baka sakaling makita si Steele. I should've keep my distance away from her because of the issue running around but I had something to say to her.

Kaya lang hindi ko siya mahagilap dito, Raiks also didn't know where that charmer is.

The family dinner last night went fine. Not good, not bad either.

I hated the whole conversation last night because all I've heard was about the details of our wedding, the date, receptions, church, themes—what the hell.

For Pete's sake ikakasal daw kami once I turned 19, this is really cliché for me, parang sa mga nababasa ko lang na libro.

I just shrugged. As if it will ever happen. We will never show up to the wedding day.

"Raika! Halikaaa!"

Gabbi pulled her, pareho kaming natawa sa pagdating niya while I got pulled by my beautiful friend Casidy.

"Beer pong!"

I groaned.

As she said we played beer pong and other games for the rest of the night, lahat ata may kalakip na consequences kaya naging mas excited ang laro. At least the dares didn't put me in some trouble.

We are getting bored nang nagsisi-uwian na ang iba, dahil nga bilang lang ang imbitado, madaling maubos ang mga tao simula nang may mag-ayang umuwi na, they all greeted Gab once again, it was fun.

"Oh uwi na rin kayo?"

"Yes, exams na next week."

Casidy hugged them before waving goodbye. Might be her acquaintances.

Dahil narinig ko ang exams, hindi ko tuloy maiwasang mapa-isip, oo nga pala, pero buti nalang okay ang mga scores ko sa quizzes. I'm gonna think of much more positive things rather than stressing over this upcoming exam.

Sanay naman akong maging optimistic, especially around Wreil, talagang dapat think positive ka lang, eh.

"Guys, tara, bar?"

We poundered about Gabbi's suggestion, pakiramdam ko nahihibang na siya. May party na nga dito tapos mag-aaya pa sa iba? What's the difference, may alak din naman dito, mas tahimik pa.

"Oy dali birthday ko ano ba!"

"Technically hindi mo pa birthday so wag kang mahadera dyan."

"Gusto mo paalisin kita dito Cas? Raiks, oh." Gabbi pulled Raika to hug her from behind, napaiwas ako ng tingin—sana all, Loml where you at?
