"What made you agreed to come here with me?" I instantly fired as she lose on our game. Inubos ko naman ang burger na tinake-out namin sa drive thru ng isang fast food chain, kkb daw kasi, eh tapos sa mura lang.

We were playing a game sa phone ko, chain reaction lang ang meron ako, don't laugh, the one who wins gets a chance to ask a question, loser needs to answer the question honestly—and I think she knows everything about me at this point, my likes, dislikes, favorite color and food ugh because I'm a loser when it comes to playing games.

"Anong tanong yan? Hinila mo ako."

"Weh? Sa sungit mong 'yan? Hindi mag-co-complain?"

She looked away and I saw thousands of city lights reflecting in her eyes, the sight drawns me in.

In front of us, it's a sea of city lights. We're currently sitting over my car's compartment, nasa long road but we could see the city lights from here, the sky is amazingly full of stars.

She sips on her soda before shrugging.

Mukang may iniisip. Kinukuyakoy nito ang paa niya in which I noticed her anklet, bumalik tuloy ulit ang tingin ko sa muka niya.

Who could stop from liking her more and more?

Tumalon naman ako pababa upang kuhanin ang hoodie at cap ko sa loob. I gave her my cap, and I wore my hoodie kasi hindi naman daw siya nilalamig.

Seriously the city lights are breathtaking but have you seen these stars? Stars are full of unanswerable question like, how exactly far it was? How many? And the Big Dipper, Small Dipper, or how will stars possibly guide you when you found yourself lost in the middle of the sea, anything.

It's so beautiful.

What I've read is true, everything beautiful is far.

"Okay let's continue."

Nagpatuloy ang laro namin, this time I'm winning! Could you believe that?! Sabi ko iipunin ko muna ang questions ko because the momentum is too great for me, gosh I'm winning talaga hindi ako makapaniwala—that's when I've got a chance to ask her many questions.

"How's your day?" I started to ask.

"Fine."

"How's your mind?"

"Never stops thinking things."

"How's your health?"

"Health? Bakit ganyan mga tanong mo? I'm expecting you'd ask private question." Umiling ako, no plans answering her question, unfortunately hindi naman siya nanalo.

She sighs. "Okay sige, I'm fine pero kulang sa tulog? Maybe?" I nodded. We're really busy at school these days, approaching ang midterms. 

I finally throw my last question, "How's your heart?"

She looked at me for a second before answering, hindi naman gano'n kahirap ang tanong ko, I just want to check up on her, it also makes her check up on herself as she think of an answer, wag niya sanang kalimutan check sarili niya.

"It's beating... confusely beating fast."

I grinned. "Siguro crush mo na 'ko 'no?" I teasingly poked her shoulder with my index finger, I stopped din naman kaagad. "Or you're just bothered, Wreil."

Humiga na ako sa ibabaw imbis na umupo, iniunan ang kaliwang kamay, at itinaas ko naman ang kanang kamay ko as if reaching for the stars, pinabayaan lang na nakataas ito sa ere, testing how long could I raise my hand like this, hindi naman nakakangawit, eh, it's satisfying, I do this often.
