I was walking in full rage when someone pulled me forcefully.

"Fuck—" covering my mouth even. In. Our. Own. House.

"Shush, it's me." Napakunot ang noo ko nang marinig ang familiar na boses. Steele.

My eyes widen, nandito na ang pamilya niya bago pa ako makapag reklamo sa daddy ko.

"Let's go inside your room, quick."

She pushed me slightly, tila pinipilit akong pumasok kahit saan nang kwarto. We ended up inside Kuya Trad's room.

Hindi niya na ako pinagbigyang magsalita pa dahil inunahan niya na ako.

"Okay, first off, my brother hates the whole idea and he doesn't want you to be his wife. Second, he have a girlfriend that he love truly. Thirdly, you have to participate because we're really in this freaking situation and the last thing I want is our parents to be mad." Steele walked back and forth while talking, nahihilo ako sa totoo lang.

"Will you please stop pacing back and forth!" Hindi ko mapigilang saway. Agad din naman siyang nakinig.

"I knew their agreement since the first time we've met sa library, I really thought you're not the eldest daughter."

"Bakit mo ako hinila dito?! I need to talk to my Dad!"

Nanggagalaiti na 'ko, she's wasting my time here.

"No you can't! You can't change their mind Tarra, they're eager to bind their company. I've heard your Dad saying you can't say no to this and he will pull some strings, my father will also do it, please you have to agree for now." Huminto ito sa harap ko at nakahawak pa sa balikat ko. Steele is really a charmer but tonight she really looked stressed out. "Please my brother's girlfriend is at stake, also my brother himself."

"And what? What should I do with that?! I'll talk to my father!"

Palabas na ako nang hatakin niya ako ulit, pinning me against the door. Her eyes glaring.

"I knew your father every well, more than you ever do and believe me, you wouldn't want to be on his bad side, money can freaking poison anyone."

I closed my eyes tightly. Bakit ba 'to nangyayari? This is so sudden! I don't have time to even process it.

This is driving me insane, I never imagined myself to be in this situation, I really hate my father ano 'yun? Utak nasa paa.

"What's your plan?" I asked impatiently.

Steele nodded. "Let's see, I have plan A, B, C up to Z—B to Z is useless so you have to agree on the first one, be my fiancee and the rest is up to whatever, we have to get my brother out of my father's eye so he could plan things with your brother, Kuya Trad."

"What the fuck, my brother agreed to this?!"

"Eldest knows what's best for us, babe."

I glared at her, I didn't like what she called me.

As we are eating with the Valentin my father cleared his throat to call everyone's attention.

"I'm guessing you guys are wondering why we're all here with the Valentin's." My father acknowledge his children as if he's a good father when in fact deep inside he just really want to call my attention, nakatingin lang ito sa akin.

Then he just blurted out that he has been looking for some decent guy for his only daughter and boom, he just announced that I will marry this Steven guy.

My mom looked at dad as if she's five seconds close to yelling at his face in front of his visitors but she never did.

"I'm sorry what?" Steven interrupted as if he didn't have any idea about the whole thing, in which I thought, alam niya ba? He looked really surprised.
