I'm a bit agitated right now. I don't know why but it felt like we can't be able to reach our destination.

Paano kung may haharang sa amin? Paano kung nasundan kami ng mga tauhan ni Flynn? Kamusta na sina Katarina roon sa palasyo? Ang mga bata sa Pilipinas... oh heavens! My sanity is at the edge.

"Fvck, Zync." bulalas ni Iseah kaya napalingon ako sa kanya.

She glanced at the rearview mirror.

"Para kang natatae riyan. Don't fvcking think negative. Think of happy thoughts. You know... law of attraction."

Ngumiwi ako sa kanya. Pati sina Daddy ay napalingon sa akin. Paano naman niya nalamang puro kanegahan naiisip ko?

"Your face speaks it all, son." ani Daddy na may tipid na ngiti sa labi.

I sighed.

"I just..." yumuko ako. "I don't know. With all that happened and is happening right now, it's shaking a whole level of negativity in me. Thinking what could happen next is sucking the force out of my wits."

I heard them sigh after I told them what I really felt. This is frustrating.

"Same here." ani Gylord. "I didn't expect that stalking Reina in the corridors of our university to collect photos of her will bring me here. I was just a curious and starstruck college boy back then. Naiisip ko minsan, what if I listened to you, Zync... you warned me to stop tailing her but now, look at me. My left foot is standing on the sand and with just a single wave, it'll be washed away and I'll definitely lose it. Curiosity is now pushing the cat to its death. I once had a boring yet peaceful life back then." He laughed lamely while his eyes are still nailed on the screen of his tablet.

Sia snickered and glanced at him. "You're regretting that you chose this path, aren't you?"

Tumawa si Gylord saka ibinaba ang hawak na tablet. He looked at Sia.

"Of course not!"

"You sound like one to me."

Kumibit balikat ang lalaki. "If I'll die in this fight, I would be happy because I had fun adventures and I was able to use my talent in helping royalties with broken crowns."

Hindi na sumagot si Sia. Tumingin na ako sa bintana.

Royalties with broken crowns... nakakatawa pero tama siya. We are all royalties with broken crowns, ruined thrones and stained blood with a goblet filled with poison in our hands.

Most of the people think that life of being a royalty is ideal and almost perfect. We have all the wealth, name, influence, popularity and all the good worldly things in our hands but in reality, our life sucks.

We are a bunch of pathetic people striving to live our lives in accordance with the standard of the society. Maybe, some royals aren't like us, I am talking about us.

People are only seeing the beautiful facade of royals, they couldn't even have a glimpse of how darkness clouds our entirety. Royalties are artsy pretentious people.

I grew up being a royal without a crown but because of our clan's old money. I was just a portion of the elite society. But, I met Reina who is a royalty and more than that. After then, my life revolves around to the likes of them. And of course, my parents who had been long parts of royalty damnation.

Yeah. Royalty damnation! Nakakatawa.

Then I discovered, I have a true royal blood. I'm a royalty like them. I have a crown and a throne, however, mine were broken as well like of the Clementin's.
