Chapter 9

Keran's POV

I'll watch her from afar. I know it sounds so creepy, but that's the best I can come up with.

We are now at a break that's why I have time to think how to make sure she's fine, but I only have about 15 minutes until we continue on practicing.

I have a plan in my mind, to accomplish the mission that's why I asked Jiaqi to alter the time of our practice. She's asking me why but I told her to just do it.

Instead practicing during day time, we'll practice during night time and take a rest during day time. The other three girls agreed saying it'll be more convenient for everyone of us.

"Keran, what were you doing right there?" Asked Yuxin. I didn't noticed her appearing beside me.

"I'm thinking how far am I willing to do for this mission" I told her. Honestly, the only person I'm comfortable to open up to is Yuxin.

"and how far do you foresee?" She asked me.

"So far, that I can see my own ending." I answered that made her stop.

"I knew you were thinking something this deep. I can see it on your face you know, but you know what, I can't see anyone of us dying here, I'm so positive as a person that I wasn't able to think that negatively." Yuxin said. I looked at her. She smiled at me with such hope.

"Guess we're indeed contrast." I said to her.

"Yeah, the brain and the heart." She chuckled.

"By the way, there's something I want to ask you that I always seem to forget." She said. I looked at her in confusion. What can it be?

"What is it?" I asked her.

"Who is the girl? The one you're talking about on lunch with the girls." She asked smirking. My mind go blank. Well, I'm not ready to open up that much.

"Yuxin, you know I won't tell you." I said. She just chuckled.

"How about, I tell you who's mine and you'll tell me who's yours." She offered. I contemplated all the odds and pros of the offer and end up with a decision.

"Fine, you first." I said. She grinned like a fool upon hearing it.

"It's Xueer. I'm attracted to her." She said dreamily. Well, they are not that impossible, it's so obvious that Xueer likes Yuxin.

"Okay. Mine is Gaga." I said nonchalantly. She realized that I fooled her and she trapped my neck on her arms.

"You monkey! I shouldn't have trusted you traitor!" I lowly chuckled. My position is actually so hard because of the fact that Yuxin is shorter than me.

"Guys, the practice will start now." Jiaqi suddenly came up.

"Wait Kiki, let me kill Keran first." Yuxin said. Kiki on the other hand held Yuxin's ear and pulled the two of us inside the practice room.

The practice ended and everyone in the team was dismissed. It was just a start for the day for other trainees.

"Guys, let's eat dinner or breakfast whatever you call it. I'll ask Diameng as well." Yuxin said. It will be Daimeng's breakfast. Jiaqi agreed but I won't be able to join them.

"Sorry, I have something to do." I said.

"What is it?" Jiaqi asked. I contemplated if I should tell them, well, nothing bad will happen if I do tell them.

"I'm going to Play's practice. I'll stay there to watch." I said. Their eyes widened.

"Are you insane? That's your plan? Not sleeping until the stage assesment?" Jiaqi reacted. That's why I hesistated to tell them. They will over act.
