Third Person's POV

"How's Keran?" Shaking asked Jiaqi with puffed eyes. Everyone involve in the incident are all worried, but the reaction that scares them the most is Xin's.

They know among the four, Xin hates this kind of situations the most. The fact that she is the heart of the team, gives away that she will react worse than Kiki and Daimeng.

"She's critical. There are supports connected to her to keep her living." Jiaqi answered clearly down. Shaking started crying again.

How come Keran is on the verge of leaving them? Shaking just got the chance to fight for her, she hasn't even started yet, and now, she's about to lose Keran again.

"Can't we do something? Jiaqi, please do something." Shaking mumbled weakly. Jiaqi pressed her eyes shut, she knows all they can do now is wait.

Jiaqi somehow felt responsible. If only she didn't decide on her own. They could have been able to protect the girls, they couldn't have been in that scene on the first place.

"Shak-" Xueer was cutted as she saw Shaking talking to Jiaqi. Kiki and Xueer made an eye contact but Xueer is quick to ignore Kiki.

"The program called me, they said even we failed to attend the finals, youth producers still voted for us. They are already informed of what happened as well." Xueer talked ignoring the presence of Jiaqi. Jiaqi is the opposite, she's staring directly at the beauty of the girl.

Shaking just nodded. It's her dream, but she can't be happy. She could lose the chance to debut, but she can't lose Keran.

"I...I'll l-leave then." Xueer stuttered feeling Jiaqi's gaze glued on her. She started walking away, but she felt someone grabbing her wrist. She looked and saw Jiaqi looking at her longingly.

"Xueer, please let's talk." Jiaqi mumbled. Xueer couldn't bring herself to say no to Jiaqi, but she can't say yes either.

Jiaqi took it as an opportunity and pulled the girl inside the elevator. She pressed the farthest floor then let go of Xueer's wrist.

"Xueer, please forgive me. Give me another chance please." Jiaqi directly said. Xueer remained silent looking in front, then finally she spoke.

"I still can't still think, how could you do what you did. Maybe, it was me, I just viewed you wrong." Xueer mumbled. Jiaqi felt weak, she dated before, but it never hurt as much as this. No one among them made her feel weak and inferior, no one, just Xueer.

"You kn-" She was cutted when the elevator door opened. She looked at the monitor and saw that they are at 7th floor. The man pressed 10 and the two just remained standing.

This isn't a good idea. Jiaqi thought upset of being cutted off.

They reached 10th floor and the man left. To Xueer's surprise, Jiaqi pulled her again and led her to the emergency exit.

"You know I did that to protect the three." Jiaqi continued. Xueer stared right through Jiaqi.

"Did you? Then why is Xin still unconscious? Why is Keran in the ICU?" Xueer answered. Jiaqi's gaze dropped on the floor.

"Because I made the wrong decision, but you can't question my sincerity, Xueer. You can't question how much I care for them, you can't question my real motive, you can't question how I feel for you... You can't, Xueer. You can't just because of that single mistake." Jiaqi's emotion outbursts.

She's on the verge of losing everything that she value the most, she can't do anything for Keran, she can't do anything for her own life, but she can do something to not lose Xueer.
