Chapter 25

Xin's POV

I miss dancing. It's been a week that I doesn't dance, spending my day just walking a little mostly lying on my bed for hours. It's so boring, I feel like I'm missing a lot of fun.

My attention was caught when someone entered the room. A smile immediately appeared on my face seeing it's Xueer.

"What did I do to gain a visit from this goddess?" I joked. She rolled her eyes as she walks closer to me.

"I visit you everyday." She said that gained a smile from me. Yes, she's been a constant this past few days. Though I know she's tired and busy, she doesn't miss a day visiting me.

I actually feel bad causing this much nuisance on her. I should be the one taking care of her, but it ended up like this.

"I'll repay you when I fully recover." I said. She sat next to me.

"Will you make it until the theme song assessment?" She asked. Actually, I'm kind of worried as well, everyone's practicing while I just lie on my bed.

It's not like, I'm eager to win or what, but us three have to stay until Zihan and Yu Yan are here, it won't be ideal if one of us will be eliminated.

"I actually would do overtime when I recover. I'll give the doctor a call, maybe the day after tomorrow, I'll be fine to dance." I said. She nodded on the other hand.

"So how about you? Have you been doing well?" I asked. Her mood suddenly shifted, but I won't confront it.

"Yes, I'm actually starting to get used with the dance." She said. So, the dance wasn't her problem.

"How I wish I could practice with you guys." I said pretending to be clueless about her mood. She just gave me a small smile.

Both of our attention got caught when someone opened the door. It was Kiki. Her eyes immediately landed on the both of us, then after she walked inside.

"Hey Ki, where have you been?" I asked. She's searching something from her stuffs.

"I was with Shaking." She simply answered. All three of them seems so busy today. They immediately went missing minutes after I wake up.

On cue, Daimeng entered the room. She has a certain smile on her face.

"Kiki, there's something you're not telling us huh?" Daimeng said immediately approaching Jiaqi.

"What is it?" I asked sincerely curious.

"Kiki, gonna hear it from you." Daimeng said. Kiki keeps searching on her stuffs.

"Don't know what you're talking about." She simply answered.

"I heard something's going on between you and Shaking." She said that made me raise my brows.

"Where did you even got that?" She asked Daimeng.

"Rumors are spreading since the girls noticed you guys are getting closer." The latter answered.

"So what is it really about?" It's my turn to ask Kiki. She then looked at me then to Xueer.

"I want to pursue Shaking." Kiki said. With that, I was really shocked. This is my least expected, I'm certain Jiaqi likes Xueer. Is this the reason of Xueer's mood today? The thought pains me.

Xueer's POV

"I want to pursue Shaking." Kiki said. I don't know why, but I have a strange feeling inside me. I was unsure of, but I'm certain it doesn't feel good.

Is it because I'm guilty? Thay Kiki is just doing that because I asked her to? I can say, it's not really what I want, I don't want Kiki to hurt Shaking further, but this is the only way Shaking could have her shot at Kiki.
