Jiaqi's POV

I watched her as she's stuffing her trap with foods. I smiled at myself seeing her cuteness.

"What are you smiling at?" She asked me as she continue on eating.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking that you must be so hungry. You almost don't chew. You might choke." I said. She blushed in return.

"Come on, you can't blame me, it's almost 9:30 now but I haven't have a dinner yet."She said. I just nodded.

"That why you should eat up, but don't sacrifies the bliss of the food." I said. She looked at me seriously.

"What do you mean?" She asked me. I grabbed her spoon and fork while she look at me confusedly.

I took a piece of steak and offered it in her mouth. She just looked at me.

"Trust me. Just eat it." I said and she followed.

"Chew." I commanded. Her eyes brightened and I smiled seeing that.

"You see, you haven't experienced the flavors and juiciness of the steak before because you are rushing it." I said and she nodded in agreement.

"Now this." I said offering her the shrimp this time. She accepted it and I watch as she chew it.

"God, this is yum." She said that gained a low chuckle from me. This is my rawest moment with her, where we don't fight, we don't talk about sad things, or we don't try to ignore each other.

"You should try this." She said offering the choco-peanut cookie chips.

"Are you really trying to kill me?" I asked jokingly. She looked at me confused.

"What? I just offered you a dessert." She said innocently. I smiled remembering our first encounter. The day that she almost killed me with peanut.

"I'm allergic to peanuts." I said smiling lightly at her. Her eyes widened.

"Then what happened to you when you ate the Kung Pao?" She asked, horror evident on her face.

"I was literally seconds away from death." I said chuckling. Her eyes widened even more.

"Oh my God, I almost killed you?" She asked barely believing what she discovered.

"Yes, I really thought it's a stir fried." I said slightly shaking my head remembering that day.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know. I thought Xin's the one who's allergic to peanut." She said. At the mention of her lover's name, I felt a pang of pain in me. Of course Xin will always be in her mind.

"No it's fine now, I did not die anyways." I said as we continued eating the food served to us.

She finished the food while we are having some conversations. It was actually fun being around with Xueer like this. It got me thinking even more, am I willing to just let go this kind of bliss that I might have in the future.

I don't want to regret anything, but I don't want to do selfish things as well, but is fighting for her a selfish move?

"Let me send you to your cabin." I said after she's finish eating. She smiled at me and nodded.

We walked out of the room, leaving the grandiose party. We were hit by the cold breeze outside and I saw her shiver with her bare shoulder.

I took of my coat and offered it to her. She looked at the coat confusedly as we stopped at our track.

"Take it, it must be cold with that gown of yours." I said. She was about to refuse but I put the coat on her instead.

"Now let's go." I said as I continue on my track so as she. We were walking silently but not awkwardly. I don't want this walk to end. I want this to last.
